Mmm so true, for me. I flew IL2 airracing for a short while, 1,5 season i think. Great people and fun racing. My first season i practised alot, and i ended up pretty high i standings. Next season i didnt have time to practice but i did decently good in the few races i flew anyway. Instead of relaxing and having fun with that great crowd all i was thinking was about how much better result i wouldve had if i had practised properly before racenight. So after a couple of races my 'ego' stopped me from even participating at racenight and i stopped flying. When they were up flying at racenight i was browsing the forums instead :cry: Ive never learned LockOn properly but ill try my best. Yesterday i updated hyperlobby and went online, thanks to this topic. Its a start anyway :) ps i flew online a couple of times last year on s77th. Seemed like a friendly bunch. When i was alone on their server (but on TS) Dante took time to come online and help me get started. Very needed and definitely appreciated, so heres a late thank you!

You can try create object with light like a cars with searchlight near to the runway. Class = lobjwithlights Dummy for searchlight = light proj RRGGBB Range Angle RRGGBB - in hexadecimal representation. Range – number of range in meters. Angle – angle of beam in degree. For example, dummy name for yellow searchlight with range 100 m and angle of beam 20 degree is light proj FFFF00 100 20 Dummy for omni light = light omni RRGGBB Range RRGGBB in hexadecimal representation. Range – number of range in meters. For example dummy name for red omnidirectional light with range 100 m is light omni FF0000 100

Пропатчить ГС до версии 1.12а очень просто. Надо только скачать патч 1,12а с сайта и запустить. Он содержит все предыдущие изменения (т.е. является кумулятивным) поэтому не требует последовательной установки предыдущих патчей. Но как посоветовал Alexi_iv, имеет смысл не ставить патч пока ты не прошел курс обучения, т.к. в патче 1.12а часть тренировочных треков не сходятся.

Приветствую! Первым делом устанавливать патчи не рекомендую, попробуй вначале пройти полное обучение. Просто некоторые патчи создают некорректное проигрывание обучающих треков. А очень важно освоить азы. Также в каталоге игры есть папка Docs, там файл LOMAC_manual_1.1_rus. Очень советую прочитать и ознакомиться. Патчи доступны на сайте http://www.lockon.ru и скачать их не составляет проблемы для зарегистрированных пользователей. Установка ничего сложного из себя не представляет - скачал, установил. Есть еще программы-утилиты типа ModMan, но это на будущее :) Удачи в пилотировании и освоении LockOn-а!

Blaze, what memory are/were you using...? I ask as I have an ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe, and I had problems with it initially too... Turns out that it was the memory that was the issue, well kind of... some of it was my fault at not reading the small print, and some of it can be spread between the vendors... For anyone that doesn't know, the board has a Front Side Bus of 1066MHz... so looked around various web sites and checked recommendations, speeds and prices of the memory available and came across Corsairs TWIN2X2048-8500C5D. Recommended as the best memory for overclocking on the ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe on Corsairs site. As the board can overclock itself on the fly, this was a perfect match I thought and the memory was rated at running at DDR1066... FSB @ 1066, Memory @ 1066, Intel Core Duo 6800 Extreme @ 1066 = Uber lightning speed system... Well, actually I was kind of right, but kind of wrong... I got my system put together and like you I was amazed :shocking: everything was sooo smooth... Then after a couple of days of just looking at stuff, I actually started playing things. After about 45 minutes, most games would lock up and the system would hang... Hmm graphics card overheating I thought...? I checked out my ASUS 7950 GX2 and it was running at about 70 degrees C under load... not too hot for this type of card... So I did some benchmarking and stuff... Turned out that Windows would run ALL DAY doing music, video, whatever you like, but as soon as you put a game on it would give you between 10 and 45 minutes, then CRASH! Got to be graphics card I thought, so I checked the drivers, stuck in a support call with ASUS, and their initial diagnosis was the same... They asked me to poke around in the BIOS and disable the PEG Link feature (used for automatically overclocking the Gfx card) and tweak a few other things.... No change... Next they asked me to upgrade the BIOS to a beta version on their site... No change... Then they went quiet... I emailed, and emailed, then a week later they asked me to upgrade the BIOS to another beta version... No change... They went quiet again... I emailed and emailed again, and got through to a supervisor. That's when the puzzle was solved. FSB has nothing to do with memory speed (not directly anyway) The ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe has a memory speed capability of DDR800 (400MHz for the actual Module with dual cycles hence 400 x 2 = at double data rate of 800 = DDR800). Fine you say, so the memory will just run at DDR800 instead, and that's what Corsair and ASUS said too... Turns out that there is a problem with the P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe board that causes lock ups and crashes when the memory is running at DDR800. They told me to down clock the memory to DDR667, and ever since, it's been absolutley rock solid. Since then ASUS have told me that the memory is not compatible with that board, and Corsair have insisted that it is compatible with that board. All I care about is that the system is solid, and ASUS have promised to get DDR800 functionality stable on the board with upcoming BIOS releases. So, long story but... Your issue with this board could just be the memory clock.

Do some of you guys actually read what you have posted?? You talk like you were involved in the design and production of the jets and weapons you are referring to. As joe blow public you might know 30% yet you post like you know 100% of the inforamtion. How can you say 1 engine on the F-16 is better then 2 on a Flanker? Venezuela is mountianous... 2 engines is a much safer choice and always will be over a jet with one in that type of terrain. Pilots don't eject when they lose an engine on a twin... what kind of nonsense is that? Congrat's to Venezuela on getting some new Flankers... most of the rest of this thread is utter crap and enough with the politics... I'm sure the Venezuelan government knows enough information to make the right decision for it's needs.

I have to laugh at that website. I can't believe Right Wingers still use the word commie lol. Typical though from internet political websites, they seem to state the obvious and present it as if the author has some kind of great insight into the situation. Everyone knows that the US military can't be beat and that's all there is to it. They spend more on their military than the next 20 countries in the list put together so if they want to invade your country they can and will and there's nothing you or anyone can do about it.. Hell they don't even need a legal reason, so saying the Su30's were bought to defend Venezuela against the US is just plain stupid. The reason Venezuela baught Su30's instead of US jets is because of the breakdown in their relationship which puts in question the whole "keeping'em flying" idea. With the Russian deal they will at least have the ability to resupply with out loosing the A2A capabilty they had with their F16s and even though that capibiltie is very, very limited it at least keeps them in the game in terms of "it's harder to start an AF from Scrath than build on what you already have". It also makes me laugh when people from one country celebrate the fact that invasion is part of their countries foreign policy.. For me personally this thread starts and ends with the idea that Venezuela purchased some cool jets and as someone that is intersted in Fighters I can appreicaite the Su30 with out the politics.
