  1. Не уверен, что все верно и точно, но в целом, вроде, так. :)

  2. Not quiet. I want to have solar eclipse modelled online so I could start praying to all Gods with my fellas. Also I want to have modelled active volcanos online and use them to attract those pesky heaters. And last but not least- what LO desperately needs to have modelled for multiplayer is earthquake- thus the ground forces and airbases of the bad guys could be devastated without shooting a single bullet or perhaps it's the only way to really shake some people and finally make them categorize their priorities.

  3. I have a problem with su25t. Example when I start fast (I drive very fast on runway, or start full loaded from taxi) the su's horizontal line is contorted some degrees (example 5 degrees). I'll show you what I mean on pictures. On this picture all is OK. The horizont is OK, the daturm is placed simultaneously the regard of the ground. But if I do something "wrong" (even don't know what exactly...) sometimes su25t crash... example that picture. Sometimes when on start i press Rwin+Home and Shift+L and Ctrl+c too fast the engines stop on 20% and dont want run more. There is only one solve - eject and try again. None of other planes are so bugged like that Su25T!!! It is fine ED released Su25T, but before release it could be good idea to check it... or employ good testers.

  5. We (my wife Janet and I) have just finished our first Lock On movie. There are some definite imperfections as in any first work but we think it well done for a first effort. We set out to learn to make a movie by telling the story of a single two ship flight task flown by myself and a squadmate online. We feel we have to some small degree achieved that vision here. We have invested over 90 hour’s time in this learning process. It is eight minutes long, two songs in length. (Phil Collins and Rush) We learned much about what we will do differently next time. Among them, half speed fraps caps to fix dropped frames issues, sound effects, higher resolution video, better quality audio and music, synchronization, more explosions ;-)and most of all we will never, ever, use Windows Movie Maker again on a complex project like this. At several points the whole thing was held together by nothing more than some chicken wire and chewing gum. It will surely be Sony Vegas from here on out. We used this movie to learn to walk and we absolutely loved every grueling minute of it. Over the next few movies we will try to learn to run and then hopefully, with a lot of hard work and persistence, eventually "fly". Thanks go out to all my squad mates in the 169th past and present for their unwavering support, to the Lock On community at large, and to Eagle Dynamics, without whom none of this would have been possible. Download: Hawg Wild: Black Sea Battles We both appreciate your taking the time to download and view it and we hope that you enjoy our first Lock On movie. 6. ....I will post a beta release (v1.2) for LOFC soon. Ever since I saw some photo's on www.airliners.net of Adler airport I had plans to work on a new scenery version. I've finaly found some time and this (beta) version v1.2 that I'm about to release has over 150 objects added to the town of Adler. Furthermore an army base was added to the unpopulated part of the Ukrain and I started to work on a highway airstrip. Now before you start moaning about FPS, it's not that bad (only takes up an extra 1-2). Just remember that the final version (v2.0) will be a Black Shark version and you need a fast PC for that to run anyway. I'm still finishing up some details but I didn't want to keep you from some previews: Adler: airstrip: Army base & forest:

  8. Yupp, Thanks for the update Wags, ED Team. Hope that things going better than worse. Is there a pre-order in plans? This can solve every budget problems if it slow down a progress (probably not because of military orders).

  9. Hi Gozr, I'm sorry but I disagree with your view that these improvements, little or big, would dramatically increase the client base of LockOn, online or offline...or combat flight simulation games in general (without restarting the debate of sim vs game). Although we see a constant drip-feed of people new to lockon, which I think is excellent, this isn't down to feature creep necessarily, but the fact that people tried LO when it first came out, had a rig that caved under the CPU load, and only recently decided to re-try it with a newer rig. My point being...these aren't people new to the genre, they are people who are giving it a second go...and not directly as a result of features (bug fixes may be but...). Am I looking forward to BS? Yes, I am keen to fly it. Am I disappointed it won't add anything to the Su-25/T (which I fly exclusively at the moment)? No, not really. BS is about BS, not the other stuff. Am I thrilled to hear about other developments like the mission editor? Hell yes, cos LO:FC editor is frustratingly tedious for designing server/online missions (arrrrgggh the repitition of adding fecking client planes and waypoints). Your biggest request seems to be turbulence/weather/environmental dynamics and immersion. We already have a degree of wind behaviour in LO, albeit not sophisticated, but...is it really more important than: the AI ground vehicles behaving like retards mission editor requiring 1000 clicks to put 12 player a/c in an online mission new terrain mesh and textures for a more realistic low-level experience many other things we can all think of.I appreciate this issue is important to you, and everyone's issue is important to them, but...can you please let it go? Its pretty clear from previous posts in this thread that it isn't other peoples priority either, nor will in radically increase sales/revenue for ED, else they would be doing it so please....let it go. Brewber out. EDIT: Wags, thanks for info, I'm sure we're all disappointed that it all takes time but...I am equally sure we will all appreciate the product when it arrives. I am thrilled to bits to hear the ME is getting revamped/redesigned, cos the current FC one removes my will to live if I am having to create a 12 a/c strike mission for my bomber wing, and terrain etc is getting improved. I sincerely hope that hitting things like trees and powerlines will damage the BS and that we can't fly through stuff like that...and that the AI can't see us through the terrain etc...but I am sure the team has considered these things already :) Keep up the hard work, but please don't make BS the next "Duke Nukem Forever" ;)

  10. LOL btw i've you see many peoples online for Lockon ? Maybe there is a reason for it.. Lockon is Good there is no doubt but it's so close to be "real good" and it would attracked so much more peoples if some little things could be done and see the community grow a lot online.. And yes Good night

  12. I get 3-400, not that crappy, although 12mbyte/sec would have been better.

  13. Хотелось бы дополнить, но материал из учебки выкладывать не есть хорошо. Поэтому, извиняюсь, черновой вариант(в основном из справочника) и без скринов. Может быть кому и пригодится.

  14. So we should model everything that existed but didn't enter service? If that was the case, how bout IR-guided AIM-7s for the F-15C? And someone please model the F-23 somewhere along the line - it's early/mid-90s, shouldn't be too hard to add. I mean, if we're just going to make everything unrealistic and all, might as well enjoy it. Thrust vectoring F-15s - those are always cool. And give all F-15s the 22% more powerful F100-PW-229 engines. The A-12 Avenger too. I want that.

  15. Incorrect. The AE was removed not because of user request but because the team knows that the missile has never entered Ru service and it was unrealistic to include it. As simple as that. -Matt
