I rather also noticed that on servers (mentioned 169th and 104th) are a lot of ground units which are un-touched cos very rare someone flies bomber beacouse neither help from others nor long way to targets isn't encouragement nor ect. These units stay and burden the poor CPU. Load times are also a bit long. I say it what I noticed, maybe it feels only on mine PC.

  6. After 15 pages of discussion (if you can call it that) and 45 votes, perhaps it is time to reach a conclusion... What about we conclude that the community is split about this issue, but that enabling exports is decided by those who host servers? This probably means that some servers will have it enabled and some will not have it enabled... People that are suspected of exploiting the exports could be identified by disabling the exports for a week, like the 169th and 104th have done. However, it seems not to be so problematic as some people think.

  10. Bring this stuff eslewhere you f-22 fanbois. The most pointless threads in this forum have always involved this plane. I begin to wonder whether it's an accident but the cyclic appearance of this crap brought me to the conclsion that this must be one of features of this plane- to get people into pointless discussions. If you ask me the f-22 is a flying piece of sh*t but since it's flying, it attracts my interest.

После долгого знакомства с ЛО ,излетав его вдоль и поперёк на летабах -нелетабах с афм и без, нынче,случайно , недавно познав Фалкон РедВайпер и ОФ 4.5 в сравнении С Локоном ,субьективное ощущение сложилось именно такое "неземное" :) Пс.   19. мня 4 года нестабильно пролетал в ил2 на клаве, две недели назад купил джойстик недель поиграл в ил2 потом случайно пошёл в магазин и случайно купил локон, в первом же полёте мой су25 может с (т) может без непомню развалился на в пируэте, имхо когда (1-3 vs 1-3) ил2 диномичнее когда табуны поболее то ЛО

  20. Project “Russian-speaking vs English-speaking” is made for simulation of flying conditions close to real life flights. Basic postulates: 1) One life; 2) One event in a day; 3) Standard weapons; 4) Use of missile R-27T/ET in mad dog mode is prohibited; 5) Use of cheats, print screens and switch on/off active electronic warfare more than one time in a seconds is prohibited. 6) Server settings: full real, without logs. 7) Landing, refueling and rearming are allowed only on fields which are designated by mission designer. Rearming and refueling must be made in special places which will be labeled with trucks. 8) Landing on a road is allowed. The pilot and aircraft are declared survived if landing was made with in friendly territory. The aircraft and pilot are declared as battle losses if landing was made on enemy territory. Taking off or second entrance in the mission after landing on a road are forbidden in any case. 9) Fire at ground targets and aircrafts which are staying or moving on the ground by AA weapon is prohibited. 10) Conditions of the victory, defeat or draw are being declared by mission designer. 11) It is possible and well if sides will have GCI, but not more than two for any side. GCI will use ATC JaBoG 1.44 http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=24&file=822; 12) Fight is declared as started when commanders of both coalitions had written “We are ready” and administrator of server had written “Start your engines” in the game chat. 13) After start of battle the server administrator should not switch off the server until last pilot quit it, or before both commanders tell him that fight is over. If mission have a time limitation the server will be switched off after this time; 14) After accident (death) the pilot must leave the server with in two minutes (except commanders, who are recording the tracks). But it is not allowed to give advices for live pilots if you died are staying on server for track recording. 15) GCI and wing commanders must record all talks in their Team Speak channels. After fight these records must be put on file-exchange site. Force majeure. 1) In case pilot should have bug during engines' start, taxiing to takeoff position, taking off and after it, he will crush and perish - this will be treated as a nonbattle loss. The subsequent game will continue without him. 2) If pilot is not dead (refering to 1st point statings) he can return to mission and continue game with another aircraft. But this aircraft must be the same type like blasted, and take-off is allowed only after 20 minutes from return to server. It is important: only pilots who could catapult at own territory or over sea in a point from which the distance will be closest to an own field than to an enemy field would be declared survived and not captured. The others pilots must not return to server. 3) If a pilot will be thrown out from the server in first five minutes after command of administrator “Start your engines” as a result of his network bug he can return to the server. If net bug should appear after five minutes from engines start return to the server is forbidden. Pilot will be declared as a nonbattle loss. 4) Pilot with inconstant net or ping more than 500 must leave the server. Request for participation. Anybody who wants to take part in our event may write about it on forum or by PM/ICQ to somebody from organizers. But he needs to do it personally. Infringement of these rules by pilots or administrators results to fine coalition of infringer. About 30% of points we can cancel if somebody will cheat. All disputable questions we will solve at forum after debriefing. We hope it will be minimal.

  22. What I call it? I dont call it nothing. Key sentence in my post: If 30 people in a server, 29 are fighters and if there are avaiavle AG units why dont they get chosen by the players? Because they want it that way. No matter the server your in, if the builders listen to the community it will always tend to be airquake. We are all like kids. We dont like spinach but we all realy need it to be shoved down the throat from time to time! :D

  23. Okay. I'm going to go ahead and actually give this one a go.... Firstly, I will be to the north of the convoy's route. My wingman will be to the south in a position to engage after I've had time to check the situation. My first goal will be to get eyes on target and determine the AA threat, and the positioning of the convoy. Once established, I will move to position two and wait for the convoy to appear in my new kill zone. I will then engage targets of opportunity from the rear and side aspects with AA defenses being my first priority. Once AA is believed to be neutralized I will order the wingman to attack and follow up myself with guns and strafing rocket attacks in the second kill zone. Exposure time will be minimized and still allow precision delivery of munitions. yellow = planned movement areas (I can move anywhere I need to within the yellow box to maintain sight of the convoy and engage with weapons yet still remain close to cover) blue = area of observation red = kill zone boxes one and two First sighting at 6k. First engagement between 5k and 7k. Second engagement between 5k and 0k. I'm interested to find out what the beta team thinks. (What would GGTharos do?)

  24. Ammafrion, предлагаю не вести разговоров о реализации моделирования в ил-2. Во первых это не по теме топика. Во вторых это не по теме раздела и форума вообще. В третьих это обсуждалось уже сто раз. И в четвертых недостатков в ЛО ни на грамм не меньше чем в иле:) Предлагаю просто расслабиться и наслаждаться хорошими играми. И ЛО и Ил-2 хорошие игры :)

  29. You can't please everyone so I say don't bother trying. Fly where you like. Rather then make complaints about how other people/squads choose to run their servers just get your own servers as many others already have and then run them as you see fit or fly on a different server that caters to your particulars. It is really easy to be the expert on what would be the best way to run a server, admin it, and make the most popular mission on HL when you do not have to hear incessant complaints from absolutely consistently opposite points of view over every single tiny variable involved in doing so. Unfortunately that is the case so what can we do but the best we can? We can still get tacview recording on our machines by using tacview in conjunction with our recorded tracks. All with server exports off. Who cares? Out

  30. How am I uninformed? I call it like I see it, and I may need glasses, but when you have 30 ppl in a server and 29 of them are in fighters, what would you call it? Your better off protecting the base with long range and medium range sams and just taking the a2g portion out of the mission. Its VERY unbalanced in these servers, and putting in my 2 cents wont change the fact that a2a and a2g arent co-op until you have teams on comms.

  36. Looks like a driver issue, or may be a problem with fraps or any other resident/previously loaded program which affect 3D rendering. Ensure that you are using the latest drivers from nVidia and try to reboot your computer with no resident or any exotic tools. Also, please tell me how it is with the latest version 0.92.
