The 169th is proud to announce the return of the Black Sea Showdown! When: Sat Oct 04/08 - Time: 20:30 – 23:30 GMT (Subsequent events to be held the first Saturday of every month). Be in Hyperlobby one half hour before the event at 20:00 GMT. Where: 169th Server via Hyperlobby How: To keep the teams balanced this will be a closed passworded event. In order to sign-up visit this thread on our 169th forums. You may view the thread without registration but free registration is required in order to join. All squadrons and individual ‘lone wolf’ players are welcomed. Once you have been signed on to the event you will have access to a private planning room located in this forum room for your chosen side, either Red or Blue. Mission Description: Red vs. Blue with AWACS available. Respawning allowed. The mission used for the event is the same Black Sea Battle map running on the 169th server for the previous 2 weeks prior the match. There will be NO changes to the mission during these 2 weeks and any changes that are made before the 2 weeks will be announced on our forums. The mission is available to fly offline and practice by joining the 169th server and saving the mission to your local hard drive. Statistics and scoring are tracked and will be posted on the 169th forum after each event. We hope to see lots of virtual pilots and wish everyone the best of luck and a good time

Hey all, if your interested in starting a stats project for your squad or whatever this may get you on your way. This is based on the pre-release code I wrote for lomac-stats.com. There are a lot of innefficiencies in the code, but with a few hours you could easily clean those up. Running this pre-processor will input a split raw log into a database (my_sql tested only). I have not included the logic for determining kills / deaths etc. That is up to you. This is being released for the good of the lomac community. Hope it helps!

I agree this all comes into play, I always wondered though why acquiring more Strike Eagles wasn't considered? Not that it is for exactly the same roles, but adding more of them to the mix could have been one way to bridge to the future? And isn't the F-22 not already capable of striking highly defended area's fist night of conflict?

The HAVE BLUE F-117 was painted pretty close to those colors...

Спасибо за ответы. 2Сокрушитель-я в ЛО по нету не летаю,я в него и в оффлайн лишь иногда...(обычно как комп проапгрейжу,тут же пытаюсь полетать с удовольствием от красот,каждый раз-тщетно...)Поскольку ну нет такого компа,который ЛО стабильно тянет хотя бы на 35 фпс при максимальных настройках ( Лично мне не нравится,когда полет превращается в прыжки с якорем на хвосте(фпс 90 и тут же 25 )) Когда на филде стоишь без зеркал 60фпс,а включишь с низким разрешением -30 ,при чем 30это наверно за горизонтом,потому как рывки такие -совсем на 30ку не тянут-так я Вам скажу,что после того как Вы в такие зеркала высмотрите кого или что-либо,потом заколебаетесь пилотаж крутить рывками...Хотя тут конечно кто к чему привык,я к такому принципиально не хочу привыкать,писал уже по этому поводу-сколько лет прошло с момента выхода игры,а на практически топовой конфе-тормозаааааа.ААА!!!(Core 2 Duo E8500 -3800,4GB Ram,GeForce GTX 260-для ЛО отстой :( )

GG Im not trying to prove that one thing is better then other,just trying to point out that Su-34 has more roles then F-35, as SEAD,tacktical nuke,sub detecting, longer range, more lift, designed for longer missions, if u like.,That make it the most advanced Multi-role aircraft u know. Im not trying to bring in something I dont have prove of ;)

Ребята, а это совсем не по спортивному, да и не реализм это. Ведь и те лётчики в осетии вылетали без тренировок и пробных вылетов! В конце концов надо посмотреть, как МОЖНО было вылететь, если бы у РЕАЛЬНЫХ пилотов в осетии был налёт измеряемый тысячами часами, как у большинства вирпилов, даже если делать скидку на реализацию ЛО.

Просто выбрать в настройках.

GG/Pilotasso dont be ignorant if F-22 or F-35 want to attempt on same mission as su-34/su-30 all stealth capabilities disappear because of external payloads. and when that happens u can again only speculate, as u do whit missiles performance. When it comes to avionics and data link between different sources u have no proof that F22 or F-35 dose it better ten Su-34. Su-34 can do everything F-22 and F-35 can do together :) its just that Su-34 doesn't have same stealth design, but again if u want to cary out same missions as Su-34 u can forget about stealth.

another vote for the falcon 4 campaign system.. its so suprising how in 10 years Falcon 4.0's dynamic campaign still hasn't bee matched.. we get these great sims and then just some static missions to fly them in. the best part about Falcon's system is it was a War simulator, not just for the plane of interested, but for all units from the air to the ground to sea.. the DCS series by its very name is suppose to be a combat simulator but from what i read the campaign system will leave much to be desired.. but i guess it comes downto the philosphies of the developer teams.. Reading the back of the falcon 4.0 manual youc an really feel the genuine interested they ahd in building a "complete" experience, rather than just one you have int he cockpit.. on that note does anyone know how big / indepth the manual is going to be?

Could you be a bit more specific? By damaged, do you mean that it is unusable for the rest of the flight, or do you lose lock and have to re-acquire? As far as I can tell, there are limits to the speed with which the laser can be re-pointed. Hence, if you roll, pitch or yaw your plane faster than those limits, you will lose lock.

1) I think military hard ware should be able to take some damage and rough handling. 2) If I understand correctly it is not a P it is a Cyrillic R. So it means 935 meter by radar. (altitude radar)

I asked about Soldiers, so in movies I see it runs normal, quite smooth. None of any FPS drops (if u record smooth movie so u can't have FPS drops), so I don't see any contraindicadets to implement it in game ;]
