It has a lot of random flags to keep it changing each time you host it. Stay low until the Hawks run out of ammo. ____________ SITUATION ENEMY: USA tanks, sams and armor departing PL (phase line) BLUE for the EA (engagement area). FRIENDLY: Russia. Retrograde / delay. The ATKHB (attack helicopter battalion) are tasked to conduct an area defense in coordination with the ground forces. The ATKHB will control its assets to cover the main body and rear guard friendly forces in retrograde from EA HIT through SLAM towards CRUSH. Mission success when main body arrives at NVRS airfield Start time 09:00 28 deg. C wind 250 at 8 kph Precptns. None EXECUTION: Convoy and ground units are in retrograde from the EA. Cover the retrograde units from air and ground threat as they move towards NVRS. You are cleared to engage EA NOMAD once the main body arrives at NVRS. MANEUVER: At FAA (forward assembly area) assess direction of threat and move forward of RED LD (line of departure) to engage. Friendly units moving parallel to RED LD shall be guarded. Касаемо общей идеи - по идеи можно, достаточно сделать свои команды как для кнопок джойстика. НО см. ниже. Врядли Как часть DCS Лишняя нагрузка В теории - да. Alex писал, что обрабатывать оси можно, но у меня так ничего и не получилось - просто команды оси не приходят в обработчик.1 point

Иногда в редакторе возникает потребность не только в двоичных флагах (вкл/выкл), но и в числовых параметрах (0,1,2,3...). Чтобы можно было назначать конкретные числа, изменять значение на какой-то шаг, сравнивать два параметра между собой. Это позволило бы разнообразить а иногда и значительно упростить создание миссий. Если в патче этого не увидим, то хоть будем надеяться на появление этого новшества в А-10. Спасибо1 point

Stop wondering. Nobody dares to attack Russia due to Russian ability to hit any point on earth in 20-30 minutes. And that is with nuclear war heads. What is your government military forces doing in Kosovo and Metohija? Against UN resolution 1244 and Kumanovo agreement. Russia is learning from "advanced democracies" and doing the same. Next is with other large and powerful countries, they also will follow the lead of your government and send their armies to take other countries territories. Is this all good? Of course not.1 point

May I ask please, not to use the word "retards". It is very demeaning. My wife takes care of mentally challenged people for a living. They are wonderful people who live with a disability. They are extremely kind, happy, and very thankful of things that we may take for granted. I am not trying to rant on anyone about this. Вот програмка: http://rapidshare.com/files/198488505/FaceAPI_to_PPJoy.rar.html 84 мегабайта. Потребуется еще PPJoy, качать отсюда: http://www.geocities.com/deonvdw/Docs/PPJoyMain.htm После установки PPJoy, заходим в панель управления, где открываем Parallel Port Joysticks. Жмем кнопочку ADD. В графе Parallel Port - выбираем Virtual Joysticks. Устанавливаем с настройками по умолчанию. Разархивируем мой архивчик, запускаем TestAppConsole\Bin\TestAppConsole.exe (надеюсь запустится просто так). Если все запустилось то ура - у вас на первый виртуальный джойстик теперь мапятся оси из FaceAPI. Внимание! Програмка закрывается когда мы становимся на консольное окошко и нажимаем любую кнопку. Иначе закрывать не рекомендуется - будет выпадать много ошибок. Запускаем програмку, проверяем что "маска" на лице работает, сворачиваем, запускаем ЧА. Итак, теперь мапинг необходимых осей в ЧА. Внимание мапинг таков, ибо так маппится PPJoy, я использую первых 5 осей виртуального джойстика (они программно первые). Если кто-то захочет мапинг для других осей, может использовать исходники для модификации :) Оси которые отвечают за "смещение" - линейны. Оси которые отвечают за повороты "вертикаль" и "горизонталь", выставляются приблизительно так (сделайте крохотную мертвую зону у нуля): Вертикаль, абсолют Горизонталь, абсолют Желающим покопаться в исходнике - надо будет скачать полную FaceAPI SDK, там необходимые include и lib файлы. После чего заменить содержимое примера TestAppConsole - содержимым из моего архива. Ну, желающие могут пробовать! :) Надеюсь кому-то поможет кроме меня. Я уже не знаю как летал в ЧА до этого... Может сделаю чуть получше сглаживание для поворотов разве что. П.С. Перезалейте кто-нибудь на какой-то другой ресурс, здесь количество скачиваний ограничено 10 разами. П.С.2. A2A Ka-50 (like Mi-24) could be a good platform for air policing against slow mover aircraft. Airspeed, patrolling time with external tanks, cannon and Iglas: with AWACS control it's cheaper and more effective than send the A2A guys with their F-15s/16s/18s etc. During a sport etc. event, fighters and combat helos can work together to protect a dedicated airspace. PS: one 30 mm round is a bit overkill for a Cessna 172... :D1 point

85%: Uppers: -Flight Model is sublime. -Interesting helicopter choice (IMO). -Very immersive campaigns. -Good training tracks (although I would prefer them to be more interactive). -Inclusion of triggers in the mission editor makes for some interesting mission design possibilities. -Very few bugs in the initial game. (This speaks very highly of the beta testers ability to catch stuff and ED's ability to fix it.) -Genuinely fun to fly. Downers: -Dated engine with dated graphics and dated capabilities. -No multicore support. -User manual doesn't include troubleshooting/emergency procedures, and while it tells you what everything does, I feel they could have done a better job explaining how to actually go about using all that stuff. -Lack of collideable trees. -Lack of stuff going on besides your own small piece of the world. -Dated comms. -No incentive for following real-world procedures. -Mission Editor is still a little clunky (although vastly improved). -Ground and air AI need vast improvements. -Basically just lockon with improvements. The downers bring what would otherwise be simming nirvana to a grinding halt. Don't get me wrong. I still have great fun playing this sim...But they could have done better. 85%1 point

Your model seems to have accidentally left on some covers. The small "exhaust" just in front of the engine exhaust where your screenshots show a red cover. That's the bleed air exhaust and it should not be covered. I may get more critical in the future, but before I do I would like to say that I (for one) appreciate your work and this is a great improvement over the current model. Keep up the great work!1 point
