Why don't you release a finished one Ric ;) It is not essential that all your cockpit work has to be completed all at once. Also you can use a single release as an open beta test to make sure your mod is compatible with the various machines we all have !!!!! :) Just a thought. Mizzy

I made small set of scripts etc to integrate DCS:BS and Mumble, an open source, high quality VoIP -software. It simply changes channel in Mumble when you select a frequency in R-800. Read the readme for more information, I'm going to bed now. I just have a question: is it possible the moderators of this forum create an additional sub forum called the Market Place? It's just a place where people who want to sell their flight simulator gear to other members on the forum meet and make the transaction here. Under the description of the sub-forum it will say: Buy, sell or trade flight simulator gear here. Eagle.ru will not be held responsible for business transacted through this forum! You can create a sticky thread called ebay: anyone want to post their ebay listing can do so there. Or if anyone doesn't want ebay to take a % out of their sale, they can simply post a thread and see if anyone is interested in what they have to offer.

Да вообще миссии из кампании Georgian Oil War какие-то аркадные... Типа "сядь в Ка-50 и уничтожь армию Грузии" :D Так в реале не бывает, а если и бывает, то конец приходит быстро.)) Другое дело новые миссии из патча! За них отдельный респект создателям(кстати, все хотел спросить кто их создавал). По военному четкий, ясный, лаконичный брифинг. Хорошо было бы если разработчики миссий взяли за основу такой стиль написания брифингов.

Не зацикливайся на одной миссии, на основной цели. Подойди с другой стороны к решению задачи(и в прямом и переносном смысле). Попробуй поменять тактику. Если нет ограничений по времени плавно подбирайся к тем местам где сбили. Подходи на большой скорости в развороте, чтобы кратковременно входить в зону действия ПВО и тут же выходить. Выставь ведомого так, чтоб он тебя не терял из виду, чтоб мог засечь огневую точку, предупредить о пуске ракеты. Возвращаешься к нему, посылаешь атаковать ПВО, и сам за ним так же как он за тобой наблюдаешь. Так, на "живца", и Су-25 работали в реале. Ми-24 тоже скорее всего. В ЧА живцом чаще я бываю, глазастый ведомый засекает и атакует. И еще: скорость лучше не теряй - танки снайперы. Да и маневр покруче можно сделать.

I should have the DFA server up again this weekend. the router where the server is at took a dump. there was a power outage and the router never was able to turn back on :\ new one is hooked up and DFA should be back up soon :)

Ka-50\Scripts\Aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\devices.lua This has the device numbers you need for the various systems, for example: MainPanel = GetDevice(0) Weapon_System = GetDevice(12) Helmet = GetDevice(23) Ka-50\Scripts\Aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\mainpanel_init.lua This has the ids you need to, for example, get a lamp state: MainPanel:get_argument_value(393) or GetDevice(0):get_argument_value(393) Ka-50\Scripts\Aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\clickabledata.lua This has the action definitions you need to set a switch. For example, Master Arm is Button_1. So then you add 1 to 3000 (don't look at me like that) to get the action: Weapon_System:performClickableAction(3001,1) --master arm on or GetDevice(12):performClickableAction(3001,0)--master arm off Hope this helps, Colin

Actualy i tryd to "play" ace combat 6 on some promotion whit joystick... Everything from a) to d) is about an aircraft. We are talking about a truck that was immobilized, not able to move. Opponent does not have anything but the Ak-47, so you can circle around and pick the best time and and the best way to destroy the truck. You don't know how the life it is without the fuel. In very recent history, a sanctions were imposed on a country in Balkan peninsula with the objective of keeping a dictator in power. People struggled to survive with no fuel for cars and buses. I am saying this because I do know what was in the minds of those in Afghanistan who rushed to get a gallon or so of fuel. Maybe they needed it to take their sick child to a hospital in Kabul. I fully support our military decision to destroy that truck. But certainly not in a way they did it.

They I believe are still waiting for german 1.0.1/1.0.1a release. There are those who own low ping dedi servers. Don't know why are you nagging but I played many times this week with 8+ players. Permanent fix I went on the saitek site and looked a bit at the DirectOutput SDK forum. To me it appeared that something had to be compiled into a .exe or .dll by a programmer to use this so I did a bit of looking at the files and found this in C:\Program Files (x86)\1C\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\stable\lua-direct_output.dll Only 1 thing I know of even uses DirectOutput...you guessed it...the X52/X52Pro I removed this file from the directory and tested again. Load mission,eject rinse repeat a few times. It worked flawlessly with no crashes and I was able to leave the SaiDOutput service running so I can still see the commands and stuff on my MFD. No more dumb message sent to my stick causing crashes. :thumbup: Maybe some others can test and verify if this fix corrects the problem on their system and post results?
