The 51st PVO Regiment is proud to present statistics for our FC2/DCS server http://www.51st.org/stats/ Points are awarded to pilots based on the events present in the logs. All events are attributed to flights, which start with a pilot entering the server and end when he exits. During a flight, a pilot can score points from air-to-air and air-to-ground points and double these points by safely returning to a friendly airbase. Bonus points are awarded for air-to-air kills on pilots of the 51st PVO Regiment (those wearing <51> tags) and for ejecting before crashing. Kills on friendly aircraft, ground units and ships will be penalized. A detailed account of the scoring system is given at http://www.51st.org/stats/rules.html The stats pages are separated in an air-to-air page, an air-to-ground page, a page showing the overall pilot statistics and a page grouping stats of pilots belonging to squadrons. The logs are parsed and uploaded to the stats page several times an hour. For questions, comments or suggestions about the stats page, use this thread or the Server Support Desk of our forums.

This is exactly the kind of thing that put me, and a lot of others, off of Falcon 4.0. A great game ruined by a lot of people who took themselves way too seriously. Too bad they are here too. Oh, and least I be accused of misleading someone, for the record I am not Jesus Christ, Carpenter. JCC

Особенно, если ракета ещё на пилоне. Если она сошла, все становится не так весело для ловушек. А между самолетом и ракетой для А-10 - это как раз брюхом.:) Отличается. Горячий факел из двигателей все-таки закрывается конструкцией.

Don't mind any of these guys, just go to any USAF A-10 base and explain that you've mastered DCS A-10C, I'm sure they'll have no problem letting you in to fly that 12 million dollar? aircraft. No Problem. If you tell them you know Matt Wagner they may even let you load the ordinance and skip the pre-flight. Just make sure to be wearing your own mask, helmet and G-suit when you first approach the main gate. If you write a name on the side of your helmet like "Hotdog", "Starbuck" or "Chuckles" for example, they will stencil it onto the aircraft before you fly, but only if you have a receipt from a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog controller with you. :smilewink:

Sure I agree with you. I was in many RF's so far, but I can't remember this situation, and it was kinda strange to me. Anyway, I expect great fun after long time. S!

Don't mind if i take this off topic a little...say you're on a commercial flight when suddenly, an airhostess burst out from the cockpit screaming they're all dead, oh god, can any of you land this montrosity!?! Would you raise your hand or perhaps both hands while jumping up and down delirious with joy? :D

In principle, yes, in practice, it would require a lot of diligent administrating by the server admins to make it all work. All this is due to the way DCS/FC2 stores multiplayer events, which is much more complex than the mp_logs in FC1.12.

Ага, счазззз... Почему-то летуны из Ахтубы все в один голос заявляют, что по удобству прицеливания пушкой лучше старого 29-го они ничего не видели :-) Плюс совмещенку никто не отменял. А то, что сейчас в ЛО 29-й колбасит как г:)*% в проруби - к реалу не имеет никакого отношения.

Летая на предельных углах атаки (утянув ручку в пузо), сильно падает маневренность и энергетическое превосходство. Т.е. по сути ты получаешь пару секунд с хорошей угловой скорость, а дальше ты просто балласт. Этот фокус прокатывает только с ботами, в силу исключительной их, ботов, тупизны. Но даже, поставь два Ф-15 против себя, и увидишь какой результат при полетах против них с ручкой в пуз. Боты никогда не превышают предельный угол атаки, не летают с предельной перегрузкой. А люди хитрые и умные. При желании им тоже ничто не мешает зажать ручку, и летают они стараясь не подставляться, тогда как, к примеру, бот су-25 дает по себе пострелять после первого же разворота. Нельзя сказать, что это плохо летать в БВБ на предельных углах атаки, и реализм тут не причем, но летая так против среднего пилота, ты сто процентов проиграешь, не говоря уже об опытном.

All L.O.C.E.R.F. events are very, very carefully scrutinized from inception through mission-planning to conclusion to maintain the absolute integrity of the event. Trust me, if anything untoward should happen it will be picked up and dealt with accordingly. That said, irrespective of Squad affiliations and in maintaining the spirit of the event, I'm sure that we can all agree that we are all mature enough to do the job we are assigned to do, irrespective of sides. It's not about winning or losing, it's how you play the game!

Regarding the HDR effects, i see some saying "i dont like it", but trust me, after a few hours playing with it, and then turning it OFF, you will hate how it looks. It looks much better with HDR ON, IMO :)

HI rabbitick. The software is a couple of weeks away from running on the 104th server. Pilotasso is correct, we'll give it to all squadrons once we've had a chance to make it run nicely (basically, I would like to release a tried and tested version - including the source code - so I have less maintenance effort to help everyone run it).

Sorry :P My 27S carries modified 27ERA missiles with 4 way data-link and with 140km range and SMS notifications.
