The 10thGunFighters virtual squadron presents new chart packages for the DCS flight simulation (v1.2.4+): - Aerodrome (Ground) Charts for DCS: A-10C and Flaming Cliffs 3 - Visual Approach and Departure (VAD) Charts for DCS: A-10C - Visual Approach and Departure (VAD) Charts for FC3 aircraft (new) To do justice to the current development of the DCS series and the permanent requests regarding a FC3-specific version, the charts have been adjusted accordingly during the last few months. Therefore this new version is centered entirely on compatibility to Flaming Cliffs 3. An update to the charts was also necessary after the decision to make our squadron-internal software accessible to a broader audience. A special feature that we would like to point out in this context is the full integration of the GND charts in the soon-to-be-released Aries ATC simulation. The charts have been exported in the ATC software using geocoding. Show us your source, and frankly I could tell you am Anatoly kvochur, that would be as irrelevant as your statement :) Go tell that to Knaapo is you want to argue more about that, am very happy with my Flanker right now because it feels much more realistic ;) I could already have R-77's on the MiG-29S before, so not a big deal in term of combat effectiveness. It's just a good feeling, period, end of story. To understand there is no effect on the game balance on an open server, you would need to increase your flight hours more than your forum hours. Increasing the AMRAAM range by 15km, downgrading the R-27ET, decreasing the refresh rate of the Russian radars, increasing the ECM burn-trough distance are all examples of tweaks affecting the game balance and significantly coming from 1.12 version. Adding R-77's on Su-27 does not affect the game balance whats so ever, same story for 120B's (re-skined R-77) on Mig-29G. See similar explanation from Tek about realism and balance in relation with this Mod, if you still missing the point. Who said that...operators again??

  5. In case anyone is interested here is a document containing some my checklists/procedures. I made these notes a while ago when I learned the sim using the training missions. I decided to publish them to help new members learn this fantastic sim. The checklists are best used in conjunction with the training missions and the flight manual, but they may still be useful as a reference after learning the specific topics. Be aware that the current version of the flight manual unfortunately contains some errors. I started a list with all the errors I found here. I hope ED will update the manual in an upcoming patch!   10. psst... we had those charts since about 4 years already for FC1 ... just never happened to publish them. We're very happy that we finally did it with the A-10C ones. Ones our A-10C VAD-Charts (Visual Approach & Departure) are done they'll be published too, but they will still take a while.

  14. Hi all, First of all, thank you for your comments. Then, you can update your current version. I have added Anapa's airport diagram (yes just this one for the moment). So tell me what do you think about it, corrections, anything that's missing... If you think that's all right, I will start to make other airports (yes, I make my own airport diagrams).

  17. Killa, your choices all seem ok but if you want good FSX performance and can swing it, get a decent Asus Mobo as they allow for over clocking quite well. Right now you should go with a Sandy Bridge CPU such as an i72500K or better still a 2600K, also invest in a decent aftermarket CPU cooler. Look around and you'll be able to find either an ATI 5870 or nVidia GTX470 for a reasonable price and also up the PSU to an 850W, this will allow you to add a second vid card down the road for XFire or SLI & multiple monitors ;) Definately go with 8 gigs ram but if you do build a SB i7, all the ram in these systems runs at low voltage so it doesnt get too hot, so u don't really need the expensive ram with heat spreaders etc... This should all fit in your budget and will future proof you for awhile. As for the total sub-total thing, it's probably taxes. Good luck on your build. Oh also go with the 64 bit Windows7. Hope this helps.

  18. add my +1 for the 100th time. I find it hard to believe that the developer in charge of building the missions/campaigns for DCS hasn't hit the ME developer over the head or bribed him with beer & vodka? to do something like this by now. p.s. A horrible solution is to take screenshots and try tieing them up with the ME when placing units as well as the SP/MP exe's crappy solution.

Also for "fun" Seriously though, Using these modifications in combination with an East vs West scenario makes the most sense and it is more intriguing than simply adding it on top of the typical mayhem found on the 104th game server. The only difference is now there will likely be more players flying the Su-27 and Mig-29G for the sake of trying it out. I would love to see the flight hours by aircraft before and after this mod. I'm sure it would be identical to every single time Team Fortress 2 came out with a "class update" wherein >50% of the players spend a week or 2 playing the updated class until things returned to norm.

  22. Ya... The weapons mod provides for no more than 4 77's or with a mix of 2 ER's, 2 77's. So lets not have anyone flying around on the 104th with 10 77's or some other sillyness. It does not extend to the Su-33. As for the MiG-29Ghey, in the absence of MoGas, he says that in the event of all out war, Ze Jermins would modify it to carry 120B. The weapons mod provides for no more than 4 120B's (+2 heaters) and also an advanced Multirole, 2 120's + AGM-65D's, or dedicated advanced Multirole (4 AGM-65's). So again... no guys with 6 120's B's or any C's, or mad triple ejector jacks. lol

  23. Some finishing touches are left a some bugs are to be fixed. Latest development is in testing but there is still time until simmers can get hand on it. I again insist in patience as this is really a laborious job and I sometime pit it aside for new ideas to arise.
