Hi all! A couple questions regarding lazing in DCS. 1) Is the laser located in the TGP? 2) If so, why is it masked (flashing M) when I can still use the optics to see my target? Does the laser have a smaller range of gimble motion or something? 3) If dropping an LGB, if I come off the target hard after release, I can get a masking situation. I assume that's detrimental to my bomb's accuracy, is that right? Thanks! George

How do I stop the rudder from over-correcting. X52 Pro (using control column twist). I can use the Control-Enter and T trimmer, but surely those are only necessarily when flight dynamics change - ie when trying to hold straight and level flight at various speeds. It's like trying to fly through variable wind conditions and almost always from port to starboard. Also, most of the helicopters I've flown (simulators, that is) the collective automatically matches power to vertical movement - ie throttle/collective up, you go up and vice versa. But I am having to use the keyboard in conjunction with the collective to rise or go down. Even with minimum throttle the aircraft maintains height (which sounds clever, but isn't what would happen for real). What's going on, and how do I fix it?

По поводу пробить броню: тут кинетическая энергия практически непричём - у ПТУР кумулятивная БЧ. Главное чтобы долетел и попал.

There are pictures of how the real stick and collective are setup in the manual for DCS Black Shark. Have a look there. I made a (in my opinion) really good profile for the Extreme 3D Pro a while back, I'll see if I can find it using the search function -hint hint- ;). Update: I found my old(!) post with my old profile. Maybe something has changed with the profiling software since then but I guess you should be able to have a look at it at least. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=619181&postcount=5 Edit: I thought I could be nice and mention that I used button 11 as a modifier and that the profile assumes you have some kind of headtracking so that you can free up the hat on the stick for better uses :).

I posted a setup already. It is only good for Su25t however. I am sure it can be modified for the other aircraft. However you need to program a shift key to get the secondary function. Note this shift is not the shift on your keyboard but a function of the stick, also note that the hat switch can be programmed with 2 functions as well. Voice Control Software (I use Game Commander 2) can make up for any buttion deficiencies. You can have a coms button (one button / two functions) that works for both TS3 and Voice Control Software using the shifting method without fear of "crosstalk". If you have any questions or are intrested in Voice Control Software give me a PM. Edit....... Wow I feel stupid. You need one for DCS BS. OK I will work one up and post it. Chalk this to a long day in 100 plus degree weather.
