  1. Unfortunately, I don’t think it can be done. Not until ED releases tools for implementing these kind of weapons (which they won’t). The current solution is the best available workaround. The alternative would be to remove them.
  2. Haha, the massive TES a.k.a Megatron weighing in at a hefty 75 tons, with the same 1200 hp Perkins.
  3. Yep, I really like the old school version without all the extra armor. And the core game version is a bit lackluster.
  4. Haha, well, I read this: As a Swede, the language barrier might be an issue here. But solving the issue with antiphons sounds very old school British. I mean, antiphons are verse usually from Scripture said or sung before and after a canticle, psalm, or psalm verse as part of the liturgy. So, with the help of the Scripture, we should be good to go!
  5. And here it is... the long awaited CRV(T) replacement... the Ajax. It comes in three outfits: green, two tone and desert. I also added the two tone camouflage to the Boxer AFV in the German asset pack, which now emulates the British Boxer nicely. And I did the same with the M270 GMLRS. I even included the poor little guy getting replaced in the picture.
  6. I agree on your general conclusion. In a perfect scenario I would make the 9M723 more intelligent, it should be able to have waypoints and have more of a ballistic trajectory. Unfortunately DCS is what it is, especially for us modders. I'm glad that I managed to even get the 9M723 working again after the updates that broke all these missile types. Since I can't make the 9M723 better, my only option would be to make the SAM systems less good. And I don't want to make them too bad, since they have more target types than missiles. What I think I will do is this. In my asset packs I have now a very good mix of different era Patriot systems, from the old MPQ54 to the latest LTAMDS, from the old PAC-2 GEM to the newest PAC-3 MSE. I will try to differentiate the versions better from each other. Like in your opening statement "Patriot eat Iskander like piece of cake", you can't really just say Patriot because of the vast different in technology depending on which version of radar and missile you are using. I'm pretty sure a PAC-3 MSE combined with the LTAMDS radar would stand a much better chance of defeating an incoming missile than the old PAC-2 with the MPQ54 radar. I will take this into account in the next updates. In regards to your request of cluster munitions, unfortunately it's not that as easy as you think. If that were the case, I would already have done it. The Smerch MLRS uses a rocket weapon scheme and can't be guided. Using that would make an ever more worse Iskander missile. And since ED recently encrypted all weapon scheme files I can't really research new ways of implementing more modern weapons. We're stuck where we are now. We'll see, the ships are a lot of work, and I will try shorten the development time between releases. Otherwise it'll take me years to get through updates in all packs.
  7. Make sure to add the incremental update (called 1.1.0-1.1.2). Just overwrite the 1.1.1 version. It fixes the missile issues introduced with an DCS update.
  8. Strange, check out this working test mission. DF-21D long range test 1.miz
  9. I added the two tone British camouflage as an option.
  10. Haha, they don't update themselves. Yes, I'm going to update them, but since I'm very small team, it might take some time with these administrative additions. Make sure the launcher have a clear view towards the target.
  11. Yep, the Land Rover Wolf 110. Hm, if I add the Ajax, should I add the super vibration feature...?
  12. Another addition to the UK asset pack. Thank you to @HE5405 for creating the mesh!
  13. You're really keeping the OPSEC with that bug report. If I were to guess, you're experiencing the texture issue we discussed a couple of pages back in this thread. We concluded it was because of a sub mod having conflicting textures filenames.
  14. You need to take the content from the incremental zip (the right one in your pictures) and extract over the left one. But as you mentioned, the right one doesn't have a matching folder name (1.1.0), so it won't overwrite your installation in the left one (1.1.3). So you have to manually extract the files below the 1.1.0 folder (Database, Liveries, Shapes etc) on top of the 1.1.3 which have the same folders. You can't just extract the zip and have it overwrite a folder with a different name. This is because the incremental update will work with a base installation of 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3, and the folder name can't be all of them at once. So I had to chose a name, and I chose 1.1.0.
  15. Just to be sure, I downloaded the 'CH Military Asset Pack USA 1.1.3.zip' file and unzipped it. I then downloaded the incremental update 'CH Military Asset Pack USA 1.1.0-1.1.4' which I then unzipped on top of the 1.1.3 folder. I had to confirm to overwrite 63 files. Done. As has been pointed out earlier in the thread, you have to make sure you unzip the folders at the correct location. Make sure you unzip the incremental update in the correct folder. You can't just unzip it from the highest level because one of the folders is called 1.1.0 since the incremental update can be used together with 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2 or 1.1.3.
  16. Since a lot of my archives are too large for OvGME to handle I always advice all users to unzip.
  17. A couple of preview pics of the current asset I'm working on.
  18. Seem to work just fine for me. Just took down a couple of HARMs. Are you sure you've installed the latest incremental patch? You overwrite the old files with it.
  19. Unfortunately not, the transported vehicles are part of the EDM.
