  1. Yeah, you're pretty much spot on. The current limitations really makes it hard to create such an asset that even somewhat resembles its real life performance. It doesn't give me joy to spend so many hours on an asset knowing I can't make it perform like I want. And also the dealing with all the questions from the users about why its performance is lacking.
  2. I think ED will be releasing their updated infantry soon. I believe we got a sneak peek of one of the insurgents in one of their latest release videos.
  3. It's the radar. All the different OSINT sources made me chose 10 as the max number for the TPY-2.
  4. The issue is interpretation of the aim_data field, which should be the one that creates the ballistic trajectory.

  7. Haha, I think you spotted a bad conversion between units. I primarily use the metric system and somehow managed to screw up the conversion on the one-pager. I never intentionally buff any weapon systems performance. But I only use OSINT and such sources can give very scattered answers on a certain system's performance. The one-pager on my website has been updated now.
  8. Sounds like something strange is going on there. The Rb 103A is the PAC-2 GEM-T with a range of 160 km. The Rb 103B is the PAC-3 MSE with a range of 120 km. I just checked the configurations in the Swedish and US asset packs, and they are the same. The THAAD Interceptor is configured for a 200 km range. But you have to take the radars into account (being able to pickup targets earlier and withstand ECM). The Swedish LvS 103 uses the AN/MPQ-65 while the US pack contains the AN/MPQ-65, AN/MPQ-65A and the LTAMDS. The German pack is equipped with the old AN/MPQ-53 and older PAC-2 GEM. Good to hear!
  9. Nope, I made them to co-exist, since this version is only an AI version. The reason for this was so that I could implement the weapons for AI, which is much easier than for a player-controlled aircraft.
  10. That’s correct. Since OvGME doesn’t work with larger zips I just unzip them in the DCS tech folder.
  11. There is no mention of the Military Asset Pack Sweden in your log. Only Russia, UK, Germany, Ukraine and the US. So I would advice you to check your installation of the Swedish pack.

  15. I see your issue. The DF-21D is a LBASBM (Land-Based Antiship Ballistic Missile). You need to place it on the shore, and either use AWACS to track targets. Or set it to attack a specific ship or group of ships.

  17. Haha, yep, that's something I haven't solved yet. But I'll look into it. Thank you! I'll take your suggestion into consideration. Unfortunately, as you might have noticed with my infantry, I'm not very fond of making a lot of organic animations. If I were to make animals, I'd give them wheels or tracks. Yep, the Buk M3 is on top of my list. the Pantsir-SM as well, if I can find a suitable model. I also had plans for the modernized Admiral Nakhimov, but I've been waiting for more news and detailed pictures of it. Like @nghitran said in the post above, an DCS update broke the weapons. I've spent many hours trying to find a replacement solution. It's either the current (non ballistic) version or no one at all. I'm doing great, thank you. Thanks for the suggestions! Did you check that your target was located between the minimum and maximum range of the weapons? Often users don't notice the minimum range.
  18. The first question is more complicated than that. But I don't want the thread clogged with these discussions again. So if you have any questions about the matter, send me a DM. I'm definitely interested in adding these kind of units, it's mostly a question about finding suitable 3d models.
  19. Status update The Swedish pack update is in final testing and documentation. I'm currently updating the website to prepare for the release. If everything goes as planned I will probably release it in a day or two. On a separate note, the latest DCS update included the awaited fix for the SARH/TVM based SAM systems like the Patriot. The issue occurred when there were a lot of incoming threats, the system would self destruct its missiles after launch. This now works as it should!
  20. It's most likely on your side. It works for me, and I checked the zip on my site. It contains the M2A3 textures pack (around 340 MB). It's in the textures folder. The livery folder only configures which textures (in the texture zip) to use depending on tri-color or desert liveries. I put a lot of time into trying to make this a while ago, but DCS won't accept an AWACS helicopter.
  21. A lot of my assets would probably still work with older DCS versions. But since I more or less need to update broken assets with every DCS version chances are a lot of them won't work as intended. For this reason I only support the latest version. There are too many changes with each DCS version to be able to support multiple versions.
