The Pantsir with its 57E6 uses command guidance, so there won’t be a RWR launch warning. The radar is steering the missile by sending it commands, it has no seeker itself.

The Tu-95 with all its different versions has always been primarily a strategic missile truck, rather than a conventional bomb-hauler. As you mention, an older version would be carrying the Kh-20 (nuclear) or Kh-22 (nuclear or conventional), but that's pretty much it (if we don't count the free-fall nuclear bombs). So, the Kh-22 would more or less be the only reasonable addition.

Nope, like their real counterparts, the GMLRS and ATACMS doesn't have any sort of terminal seeker (like radar, IR or laser). They guide by GPS and INS. So they are fixed coordinate weapons. Outside of DCS though, the upcoming PrSM, which is replacing the ATACMS, is suppose to have some sort of multi-mode seeker.

Make sure you are within the min and max limits. Use the red and green circles to see where they are. Also make sure you are deployed on a flat surface.

Pantsir and Tor M2 shoot down Hellfires
currenthill replied to Ian Boys UK's topic in Currenthill Asset Packs
Yep, according to my sources both the Pantsir-S1 and the Tor M2 would be able to defeat Hellfires. But the Pk would of course not be perfect. And as always, it depends on the situation, like ranges, detection time, salvo launch etc. -
I just ran a test and I had no issues launching the ATACMS. Make sure you're inside the allowed launch sector, the most common issue is trying to fire when pointed straight towards the target.

Thank you! I use Paypal and Stripe, and I don't think any of them can be used in Russia. -

It was mentioned as a known issue in the change log and will be fixed.

Hey! Check my FAQ: Q3: Will the new core assets conflict with the Currenthill mod pack assets? A3: No. All new core assets have unique names and will therefore not conflict with the Currenthill mod pack assets. -

Hey! Thanks for the positive feedback on the new DCS core asset pack. I'm going to update all of the mod asset packs, to feature LODs and reduced texture sizes, to make the packages smaller and the assets less demanding in missions. I will also remove the duplicated assets that are now featured in core DCS. I'm also going to update all weapons to the latest standard. I started with this one as a template, since it only have one asset. Military Asset Pack Turkey 2.0.0 released! Changelog Version 2.0.0 Added LODs Changed textures to reduce size Added encyclopedia entry Changed folder structure Distribution model This Military Asset Pack is available in the following versions: The standard full download. Remove old asset pack version and unzip this in your Saved Games mods\tech folder. The incremental download which updates your full download and contains only the changed files. You apply it by overwriting your current installation. -
The specific known issue was condensed in the changelog. There is still work in progress in regards to making the IRIS-T SLM asset behave more realistic.

I think you got great answers from @HE5405 and @Rudel_chw. As I mentioned in the FAQ, I've made sure that the internal IDs are different (as well as the names displayed in the menus). Also worth noticing is that the new core assets are named and sorted like EDs core assets, with the asset type first, for example: MBT T-90A [CH]. -

Yep, that's always a risk of this happening when making very new and modern assets. I think the models I'm using for these new Chinese assets are very well made, and I know they are based on as recent reference materials that is available at that point, as I know the guy who takes a lot of the photos and provides reference material for the modeler. The plan is to add a lot of new Chinese assets, including aircraft. Stay tuned. -

Absolutely, donations are always very appreciated, since I still purchase a lot of models which will go into the mod packs. -

I'm actually enjoying making all these new Chinese assets, so it's definitely on my radar. -

Anything is possible, but as I describe in the FAQ, the assets added to the DCS core Currenthill Assets Pack need to meet a certain criteria as we try to make them as true to life as possible. For example, this means there has to be some sort of available specifications to the weapons added. But the general approach is that we have an open mind when choosing assets to include. This is also the reason I will keep working on the mod packs on the side, as I'll be able to add assets that doesn't fully meet the criteria. -

Not sure yet, but as it's a separate asset from the other HIMARS (and not only a weapon option, since that's hard to do in DCS), I might just keep it. My idea is to remove redundant/duplicated assets. -

We'll see, depending on how many assets I want to add. But I might release an update pretty soon, and then continue to add assets to the China pack, as I have plenty more to add. Probably not as ED is making the F-35. The files in the zip should overwrite the core files (that's why it can't go in the saved games folder). If you don't get an overwrite warning, they aren't in the correct place. This is the folder where they are located on my drive: F:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit -
