  1. And the lights below those, AoA on the left, refueling port status on the right.
  2. That's it? Wow, talk about nitpicky.:smilewink: :megalol::megalol: I'm still a college student. Can that premium go towards paying someone to take classes for me??:D
  3. What's with this pic anyway?
  4. Good to know, thanks.
  5. ^^ Nice one. I always thought the legacy Hornet looked cool, like a small sports car.
  6. Considering that standard pressure is 29.92 inches of mercury, and 1 atmosphere is 14.7 psi, 30inHg ~ 15psi EDIT: I've never heard of windmilling to be bad for the engine. However, running high boost with low RPM or cooling the cylinders rapidly will both leave you powerless in a hurry.
  7. It is an add-on to FSX. I don't believe the accleration pack is required, but I may be wrong. Anyone else?
  8. Good movie, that was.
  9. This plane does have some hardcore type stuff, like a complex autopilot and FMS, but it has its bugs as well.
  10. The aircraft has less thrust than weight. I.E., it could not push itself straight up, as most other (lightly loaded) fighters could. End result: you need to be careful when making evasive/violent maneuvers to not bleed off too much speed.
  11. No matter how many times I see/hear/read about this woman, I never cease to be amazed.
  12. :D
  13. How exactly can the panels be backlit? Do they have space to embed leds inside the acrylic? edit: Do you have a website to sell your panels?
  14. It's a series of three lights on top of the weapon that serve as sights in low light conditions. Tritium is a very weakly radioactive material that glows. Google turns up examples. However, it is spelled "sight," not "site."
  15. Ummmm, broken aerodynamics engine anyone??:D
  16. That's cute. I would totally do that with my kid.:D
  17. The flames in the air behind the aircraft look like the result of a possible compressor stall. The flames "attached" to the engines are an artifact of the afterburners. The exact design of the burners is what determines the color and shape of the flames.
  18. No problem. I didn't expect too many people to get it.
  19. Right. Needs to be at least 10x bigger.:D
  20. This is a HUGE meme on teh interwebs.
  21. Why else would they be called maneuver flaps if this was not the case?
  22. I found a website that has MS 33558 as a True Type Font File, and a whole bunch of other stuff. http://www.simpits.org/fileproc/showfiles.php
