  1. I would predict that these people will have serious stress-related problems later on. What's described above is certainly plausible as well.
  2. I've read that the airplane was flying level, fired the cannon, then entered a dive and accelerated. The path of the plane and the falling bullets intersected with predictable results.
  3. :megalol::megalol:
  4. :megalol:
  5. WTF? How is that possible?:huh: Or is it Photoshop?
  6. Well, in my defense, I'm not using the forums as a place to rustle up free answers for all of my questions. I've done research myself and even helped others with theirs. Also, none of my designs are outright copies of other people's work. For example, y2kiah offered the CAM file for all of the pushbuttons (153 of them) to anyone who asked, and I say good work and more power to him. But I'm not going to ask him for that file and then use it to make anything for profit. It's not like I'm the only one benefiting from these peoples' answers, these forums are public. Someone else with the same intent could come by and glean information without asking, or donating of their own time. My apologies to anyone that feels shortchanged because they posted ideas here. Just trying to keep things fair. I hope this doesn't generate any hard feelings, that is not my intent. Avilator out.
  7. That's interesting, I wasn't aware that screens that small were available as stand-alone units. The real RWR route won't really work for me, I plan to make cockpit kits/ instruments for sale.
  8. You tease!:chair: The cannon rounds hitting the water looked cool. The water itself is beautiful. In a word: Nice!:thumbup:
  9. I've got a question to get the thread going: who has ideas on how to simulate the RWR as a physical instrument?
  10. ^^^^I believe that is the case. But then you need to coordinate it yourself when SAS fails/gets shot out.
  11. Now he can run FSX on full settings no problem!:D
  12. Not if there's good air cover!:D:lol:
  13. Hey, if you're in the middle of a long mission, the bathroom's on the other side of the house, and you can't pause the game...............:music_whistling:
  14. Of course you haven't. I want to get a flight suit and bone dome when my A-10 pit is done.:D:joystick:
  15. :megalol::megalol::megalol:
  16. We should get together sometime and try that, it looks fun!:joystick:
  17. Here you go, this is MS26523 from everyspec.com. Fire Handle Design.PDF
  18. I'm running a stock Dell Studio XPS8000 with a Core i7-860@2.8GHz. Does the same apply to me? EDIT: I'm running Windows7 Home Premium.
  19. That sure was close to the superstructure of the ship! Maybe one day there will be similar screen captures from DCS: Harrier!:D
  20. Idk about the force feedback idea, but I can say that the lateral force you feel in an uncoordinated turn depends on the aircraft. The only things I've flown are Cessna 172s, which are not easy to slip or skid. Fly something with more adverse yaw, and you will definitely feel it.
  21. Welcome aboard!:thumbup: The map for DCS: Warthog is larger than the one in DCS: Black Shark. None of the ED products are available for preorder, it come out when it comes out.:)
  22. I think the answer depends on you. If you can stand the wait (and the torture from GA and Wags:D) then wait for DCS: Warthog and the stick from thrustmaster. As for what you would get now, I don't have enough experience with various equipment to talk about different HOTASs. I would recommend Saitek rudder pedals. They have solid construction and their size and tension are adjustable. Welcome to the community and have a good time!:thumbup:
  23. What's this jet canyon race, I'm interested. My L-39 and I might come up to play.:joystick:
