You need BR on M to get the jammer powered. And then, in [] or PCM, it only triggers while you are on STT by another aicraft (it only jams a radar actively tracking you)

He is a free man, he can adjust to whatever he likes

It's UTC, and you can also adjust the time yourself

All good responses! When approach symbols are missing, also check if you did not press the Palette SNA (Magic Slave, Designate, etc...) which in ILS approach mode declutters the HUD. Press again to get ILS back.

RWR cannot. However, if you are interrogated in Mode4 IFF by a hostile, you can have IFF alarms.

I did it within Razbam (which is a company/team) . It's not incorrect to say it was done by Razbam. No problem at all with the crediting. The F-15E radar simulation was indeed pushed very far, I don't have experience of the F-5 to compare. They are totally different era anyway so not comparable.

I'm the developer of the M-2000C overhaul since 2020 (which you attributed to AdA) and of the F-15E radar, sensor control and multicrew. I did not use the word "with" at all.

There is no such thing as "AdA update". AdA did not develop anything. All development was done within Razbam.

I developped it. I would have no issue giving it better aiming, and adding target prediction, and I actually did it during the development process... But it was not faithful to the real thing. Now I can't send you any manual page or video that is not already public, and public info is scarce. You will need to live with it. Though, despite being far behind predictive gunsight like you can find on US jets for instance, it is absolutely useable. But it requires some training and understanding how it works. It's not a predictive gunsight and only shows the past virtual tracers. So if you are not on a stable turn it can't give you much help. Basically, it computes 8 virtual tracers launched at regular interval and display them in a 8 segmented line (nicknamed the "snake" or "spaghetti"). If you have a radar lock, it also displays a reticle on the snake point which is at same distance than target. It is not a predictive sight and must be used a specific way. I'm sure there are plenty of videos about the gunsight, watch them and train. Razbam's discord is also a good resource for getting hints on how to use it.

The model is very accurate in modelling its IRL inaccuracies. No kidding, and IRL pilots pester about it.

All is in the title, what do I loose in FOV / Clarity / night flight contrast? Isn't the USB link with compression an issue? Especially the latter, I had a rather poor experience at the time of the Quest 1, link over USB was causing some slight artifacts, especially visible on the ground when rolling or flying low, but that's a long time ago... Also had frequent loss of audio, which I never had with the G2.

No, the french Mirages 2000C still had the CRT display until retirement and the 2000B still have it (100% sure) To be confirmed, but, I think -5 has only a modernized PCN and the same INS. D had (before RMV at least) a dual redundant INS but no GPS as well.

Yes, the M2000 has its own system for changing laser codes which predates the DCS system. You access it though ground crew / configuration panel, after GBUs are loaded.

It shouldn't have a RDI radar, then. Improved RDM? The VTB was also replaced by a US LCD display.

3> This definitely looks like a controller problem. Maybe hardware (which throttle do you have?) or related to some detent settings. 4> This looks like the trans-sonic effect modeled on the altimeter. Try passing mach 1 looking at the altimeter and tell us if this is what you have seen before. If yes that's a feature 5> This absolutely looks like a core DCS problem, even if occurring only with one aircraft type. Ask main DCS bugs forum for this.
-
Could you provide some details about the throttle and the altimeter issues?
-
It's actually a solenoid held switch
-
The missile autodirector doesn't have a very wide reception angle. You may be trying to shoot at a target which is too much on the side. The dot/circle cue is computing the optimal interception angle but might not correct when the solution is outside the autodirector sensitivity cone.

Galinette answers to someone asking if there is any proof against RB. He answers "the (only) proof is ED explanation that RB used the DCS SDK for a pro market" So no. It's not "According to Galinette RB used the DCS SDK". It's "According to Galinette ED claims RB used the DCS SDK". Oh my god, what a scoop Again, you do over-interpretation and butt-translation, to push the drama.
-
Galinette doesn't use the word "SDK" and mentions mods, so again, you are butt-translating with intent to increase drama. Maybe Razbam did only make a 3D model or a couple of lua scripts... Which anyone can do at home.

No, this clause is about purchasing regular, cheap software licenses and making people pay per use (as in an arcade game center, for instance). If a 3rd party purchased generic DCS licenses and made any squadron pay per use, then yes it's infringing this clause. If a squadron purchases generic DCS licenses for training, it's possibly infringing DCS EULA, but in that case the 3rd party is not in cause. The squadron is.

What's explained in this post is very far from what you tried to "translate". It's a good thing you deleted your original post, as it's crossing the boundaries of defamation. Not really, no. There is nothing proving or stating any IP infringement in Galinette's post. Fuchs translated with his butt to create drama.
