In order for this to duplicate a real F-86 you would need a three way switch which few controllers have.
F-86 has a speedbrake In (down), out (up) and hold (neutral) position on the throttle, so anyone without a three way switch they want to assign to the F-86 will not be able to duplicate the real life functionality of the aircraft.
With so many aircraft having a speedbrake "toggle", many (including myself) have assigned a single button to speedbrake which facilitates speedbrake on/off in a single press.
regardless of my ability to keep this button with a modifier (speed brake on with press and off with modifier + press), I prefer to have a toggle because it makes it the same across all aircraft.
Not all of us can remember how to fly 30 different aircraft and would like to keep the HOTAS setup for the basic flight controls as similar across all the platforms as possible even if it doesn't simulate the real aircraft controls exactly.
This allows me to play DCS more than I'm learning DCS which is always a struggle/balance that I can't ingnore.
Thats all.
+1 for the toggle Bump.
