BUMP.. it's still not fixed. But i have a feeling with the latest patch (not from today) it does occur a little bit later. But that can just be placebo effect cause i know network performance overall has been improved drastically. Thx for that by the way.

Deleting the F10 player map marker won't matter anyway. You click left CTRL+F10 and the map go's exactly to the location you are flying even if there is no player marker. Kind of a non issue. If you want to nav realistically what stops you? If you don't want it use the map. Who cares it does not impact gameplay anyway.

Thank you. And what is this 80% nozzle. Should that not be 100% when you open it fully. I seem not to have a problem following others do. So reaching 100% open nozzle does not seem needed.

- Is it normal that the nozzle will always stay at 80% even when in full AB? > Will upload a short vid later. - RWR sounds not working (i think. Maybe it's normal for F-5). - Air-brakes are always on when starting the F-5. Is this normal? And is there any Air-brake indicator some where in the cockpit? - Radio menu does not work in flight. Only on the ground. Wanted to ask for AWACS but when pressing \ in flight it won't show the radio menu at all. Or do i have to be at a specific radio frequency for it to work.

I totally agree with that standpoint Frostie. But it should also be the other way around. Live and let live. But i would never ask for somebody else his fun be taken away so i can have more fun.

That is part of the fun right!! That is why they have a MIG-21 right? If they can not deal with it then don't even buy it. Cause they could already guess this would happen before they bought the MIG-21.

So you want to make other dedicated fighter jets less effective that can only fire AA weapons so people in the MIG-21 can have more fun? I thought the MIG-21 flyers already had more fun with all their full fidelity cockpits they adore. It has more weapons can do more missions, Air to air and air to ground. What do they want more? Because right now i feel they just want to nerve other true fighters just so they can have more fun. Think outside of the box. get some wingmans that are not only MIG-21's make them go ahead and mig-21's can lag behind to get that sweet unsuspected kill. You need to do that anyway in a 80's scenario cause they are no match for the F-15 avionics and AIM-7 anyway. The only difference is that you get a warning when a AIM-7 is fired giving them the false believe that they can actually do something about it. The only MIG-21's that kill you are the MIG-21's you don't see. So in that case the weapons and avionics carried by the enemy planes is irrelevant. Just approach them in TWS and at the last moment switch to hard lock for the AIM-7. But even in that scenario it would not matter if it's AIM-7 or AIM-120C. Cause the warning comes at the last moment anyway. The only thing in your advantage is that he might miss with the AIM-7 and the threat aircraft will be closer. maybe if MIG-21 pilots dont want to adapt they should wait till there are Phantoms and such and not play with 4th gen aircraft till then. So you can have a real 80's scenario. Now that would be cool. Right now they want to take my fun away (that is already default in the game) So they can have that fun.

And you don't need 80's to make the MIG-21 effective. You need more team work and to think outside of the box.

I use that map. But sorry that is not a target map. It only shows me what i already know is there for the last 10 years and some extra FARPS. Where are the SAM umbrella's etc etc etc? These tools should be in game and not on some website. We have to alt tab if you don't have a second screen. I can not even draw on it to show other people targets that i just have found. Off-course there are not much targets at the moment. But i hope that changes in the future.

The Mirage is also not a dedicated strike aircraft. But still can carry bombs and do strikes. MIG-21 even has guided ammunition. I even use the SU-27 sometimes as striek aircraft cause it carries a good amount of nice air to ground weapons. Instead of we fighter jockys fail to understand that it's not a strike aircraft you fail to understand that it carries a good punch to do considerable damage. And you need to think out of the box. MIG-21's have been used for strike and CAS a lot of times after vietnam. And i have seen very proficient mig-21 drivers in DCS doing a shitload of damage to buildings and armored vehicles. And the map is not that big that you can't reach a target. I think you don't get it and you are limiting yourself. Why have a full fledged module only to use maybe 3 types of air to air weapons? Maybe instead of using them as effective fighters let the dedicated fighters take care of that and use them as strike aircraft. But i realize for that we actually need a planning tool in the game that you can share with your strike group. Would make everything so much more easy to plan and to let people follow the plan. And we need a tool to gather intel and when found you should be able to mark it on the map. (Not automatic marking so their still can be errors on he price location. Right now we are playing a game that actually requires this stuff otherwise it's just to chaotic. And with such features everybody that joins the server later can see the plan and join in way more easy instead of disturbing highly concentrated people on what the plan is. Also a target list would be nice: - Marine base SE of Sochi grid FG34 > Damage 10% - SA-10 N of Maykop grid CJ45 > Full health - Armored group Last location 30 miles East Krasnodar center. - Manpad group W of Glendzik > Grid df45 Something like that.

The SU-27's and MIG-29's are there to ESCORT those less modern planes. They should not go on their own to a high risk target. If the MIG-21's and other slow movers don't take the time to actually arrange a escort. Or if the Fighters don't want to help. Maybe we should just go play air-quake if we don't even want to ESCORT them. There are simple real life solutions to this. But what do we do... We ask to get weapons scrapped cause we are to lazy to arrange a escort. Or because they actually don't want to talk to other people than their mig-21, SU-25, A-10C friends. We asking for all this realism and team work. But the simple things that can achieve that are not even considered. How many times slow movers have asked for dedicated fighter ESCORT to come with them on a mission? Or arrange a strike package? Maybe we should start actually protect our assets instead of letting them go in alone. Stronger planes and weapons are overcome by team work and superior tactics. And if you still don't win you will have the satisfaction that you actually tried everything and you fought hard to try and accomplish your goal with all the resources you had to your disposal.

I did. But not much. Just started again on the Red side this time. I think it's fun to fight a overwhelming force and be the underdog. If i (we) don't' win.. who cares. At least i did my utter most best and had fun with it doing so. But i'm here to fight with or against modern weapons and all it's available capability's that is brought by the game (exception for Nukes). But different kind of scenario's are cool to. But i have the feeling that the different kind of scenarios are not chosen because of the scenario itself. But just to restrict weapons cause some people don't like certain weapons. Leave SU-25T with SEAD/DEAD missiles and such. If you are to lazy to search and intercept them before they can fire those missiles at standoff range you failed big time and it's you own fault. Those things are flying slow as hell as it is. and you know exactly where they come from. For every good or bad weapon there is a defense or a way to use it more effective. If you are to lazy to learn those way's it's your own fault. Every weapon and tactic can be countered. If that means not flying on your own against F-15's to achieve that. Maybe start thinking of training with a wingman. I have literately been destroyed and humiliated by a pair of Flankers some weeks ago. Six times in a row because they had ER and i only AIM-7. You heard me cry? No it was fun.. And a lot was learned. Next time i can identify such a engagement and early and stay out of it or get a friend to help me. Lets discuss nice game mechanics instead of weapon this and that needs to be in or taken away. Increase the difficulty and diversity of the things you can do.

I had a talk a week a go. With some people. And we all agreed that the AIM-120C, ER and ET need to get back into the game again for balance. We find that more balanced because balance is amazing, otherwise we cry cry no more wanne play.

I think that would be a great challenge. But c'mon the Nuke is a bit to much. But theater defenses and targets in those defenses other than FARP's and Airfields would be great. Can't wait for the day to have some convoy's driving around supply's and hit strategic targets like bridges and factory's and such. In most cases in bluefor you have to go right into devils castle to get some good targets. Target diversity and role diversity is very important. So everybody can do something they like and still be tactical about it and employ team work. I hope to see that when the map grows. Maybe if we get the Crimea back.

I do not agree We just fly a little slower, pull less G's and defend a tiny bit more early. And stay within the limit. We just adapt within the first day. Like a lot of us did with the Flanker. And i'm not even flying the Flanker that much. Where you talking to me? Cause i think i did not react on this post yet. Or do you mean the term "winchester". Just if you are talking to me.. I never fly with 3 fuel tanks in the first place. And if i do i never go high and fast with it.

I have even worse graphics card. I had the same issue. Put the sliders for view distance of all kind of things lower. Objects, three's and such. And the one for pre-render. Also SSD will help for loading with these kind of specs.
