  1. Less than 5 what? I thought the relight was only limited by airspeed and altitude. Edit: Do you mean there are only 5 attempts to start the aircraft?
  2. So far we have, Limited air supply for braking, possible other functions? Limited radar use. 20 to 25 mins of cooling. Gun requires a loading charge and for unjaming. Only 3 try's. I know there's more. Come on mig 21 experts.
  3. I was wondering if there is a list of the systems that have limited use? Example, time of radar use, EGT limits that are modeled. So far I have read that the air brakes and radar have limited use before they run out. What others system can I mess up?

  7. I agree that the gauges are hard to read at 1920x1080. I have found myself having to lean in with track ir to read them. Any way to keep the textures at a higher level all the time?
  8. Try playing with the radar range nob. The ground seems to give false returns and throws off the radar. I tend to keep it at half or less.
  9. I cannot find a bug report thread for the F86. Can we get a sticky on where to submit any bugs? Problem. Animation of F86 Brakes are reversed from input from rudders. Steps to recreate. 1. Taxi F86 at slow speed. 2. Go to F2 View 3. Hold Left brake. You will see the right brake lock up. Release brake. 4. Hold Right brake. You will see the left brake lock up. Release brake. Bug is purely visual as far as I can tell. The aircraft will respond correctly to the wheel brake input. On all other notes. I don't think the P51 will be coming out of the hanger for a long time. The Sabre is the new king of the gun fight.

  16. When I drop units With CTTS, I get each units name GroupName100, GroupName101, GroupName102, GroupName103, it goes on as many troops are dropped. With your script. Do I just edit line 26 with the group names by going on as high as I think anyone would try to drop troops in the mission. Just keep doing this for 50 or so groups? Then I have have 4 zones I want to capture. As I capture each zone I want to add 1 to a flag. local zoneName = 'YourCaptureZoneName1' only list one zone. Should I run this script for each zone? Do a Capturezonename2 With all the other information the same. EDIT: Ajax, your replies are faster than my refreshes. I cannot thank you enough.

  19. Thanks Ajax, I'm still very new when it comes with using scripts. I can plug you information in just fine. But I don't need the helicopters to trigger the event. I want the troops in the zone to trigger the event.With the mission I want to drop the troops off outside the combat zone and make them march into it. ENO Is there any way to pull the amount of units in zone script from MIST into CTTS? Or do I need to load all of mist to get this to work?
  20. :helpsmilie: So maybe someone here can help me. I am trying to capture zones in my mission. I want to have the trigger just be a simple Infantry in zone. The infantry in this script name the groups, GroupName100, GroupName101, GroupName103, ect... I have multiple zones to capture. What is the simplest way to express this in the Mission editor. The only trigger I know to do this would be once, All of Group in Zone, GroupName100 OR GroupName101 OR GroupName102. Message. Zone captured Flag Increase 2.1. Is there a way to say that any blue infantry that is dropped in zone captures the zone?
  21. I think the mission score is a total from both red and blue coalition. You could setup a mission and assign a trigger for every unit when dead add one to flag 1. Then for blue add one for each dead to flag 2. Make a trigger for when flag 1 is greater than 100 red wins. Make a trigger for when flag 2 is greater than 100 Blue wins. There's is no need for scripting. Its possible from the mission editor to do what you are asking.

I have no idea what flags 99, 214, or 114 do. So it makes it hard to help with logic.   23. I'll vote for the F86. Your tactics will be the difference. Boom and zoom. I don't think the saber will last a minute anywhere but high altitude. The Hawk will be better overall. But I can play favorites right?
  24. I found back in the fc2 days. We would battle for control of the skies for hours. When one side or the other gaining full control, the victory march was to fly out and destroy the enemy strikers. It was what you were flying A2A to prevent. As a strike aircraft, I don't mind being shot down. It happens when someone gets past the fighters. I honestly don't even mind when people join fighters just to chase me out of an AO. Empty server or not. I know when they join what they want to do to me. I can play that game. The only fighter pilot that annoys me is the pilot who doesn't defend his strike aircraft. No communication. Just flys, shoots and RTB. It's just a waste of a slot. And I quote Rage/// "use teamspeak"
  25. I used see a picture of this formation at the airport. It was posted as a warning to private pilots on how the Local Air Force reserve practices. They will fly in 2 groups of 2. 1st group will fly leader then his wingman off his tail between 100-200ft. Then a follow up group of 2 will fly 3-6 miles behind them and about 1500 feet higher. This is how the USAF reserve flies in the Midwest. I would assume other air forces have a similar formation. Edit. Reading the 777 post. They are very large airplanes. If you don't work with them, it would be easy to think it was a smaller 737 or airbus flying lower.
