  1. this is the crux of the matter IMO. getting things to work optimally would help ED with more support and less passion from the user base
  2. try switching the tpod off, then on again.
  3. did you enter the loadout into the PACS system via the a\g gnd load osb first?
  4. this is the same experience that we had. MC causing frame drops.
  5. https://discord.gg/69rERX5u NZ based group
  6. isn't it coolie up for quick step through the tracked targets in tws? check antenna elevation if they're not showing on radar and it is on
  7. its a great piece of work Mad. outstanding.
  8. this. it would be great to see the devs finally sink some time and resources is to this and get some results. the community lost some good Warbird servers due to this and it's a constant/consistent gripe that is ignored. ED has a fantastic software package with DCS and when it's good it's amazing. AI defo needs attention, sooner than later imo m2c
  9. deselect all ord in prog 1 i had prog 2 with nothing selected but p 1 had bombs still highlighted, wouldnt work. did p1 unselect and then it worked
  10. some good stuff in there
  11. set it to stores in cmbt jett
  12. Checking to see if others have the same thing happening. SP IA Nevada mission, dusk flight, cannot get to the wso position using the number 2 key. haven't tried the other Nevada IA mission yet. anyone else have the same experience?
  13. have experienced the same thing along with others, i've seen a couple of threads on it now, I think it is to do with rearming. When taking a jet with the unchanged ME loadout the bombfall line is as expected. if you rearm this happens, haven't tested it extensively yet but that's my hunch
  14. anyone had AI helos (super cobra, hind) just eat missles and carry on like nothing happened? We had a couple take a 120 each and then a bunch of 30 mm and just carried on. has been noticed a few times now. Just wondering if im drinking crazy juice or have others noticed it. no track, will try to get one when i have time. mods move if in wrong place,
  15. have had/seen this behavior also. was on a MP server so no track unfortunately. its like they went vertical on the loft and buggered off the other way
  16. delete. PEBKAC issue
  17. some of our guys using vr have had a similar thing, ymmv
  18. Thanks Frederf. appreciated.
  19. noticed that when I slew the ground radar that the slew cross hair is acting like a new steer point with any designation. I had stpt 1 selected and the corresponding distance to it from the AC. Started using/slewing the ground radar with out designating a point with TMS up and noticed that the distance on the HSI was changing is relation to where the AGR was "looking" rather than relating to the AC/STPT. Question I'm asking is ; is this what is expected in it's behavior, should it be showing the change in distance on the HSI relative to the slewing of the AGR without designation. Could it be user error or a repair on the install needed ? Not calling it a bug as I have no idea if that is expected behavior
  20. i wondered about this, I thought it was auto centering as soon as I stopped slewing while in exp and dsb modes, freeze mode allows it to slew with out it "centering " for lack of a better term.
  21. tried more curve on the rudder axis? i think set mine at something like 30
  22. Nealius, is that with full brake pressure? i saw some keybinds that were for increase decrease brake pressure and have found that using different amounts of brake pedal deflection has an influence, if that makes sense?
  23. Probably me misinterpreting what has been written, but to use the analogy of pushing or pulling a three wheeled pram (front wheel is free castoring), you can stop it with the wheel in a turn position but when you apply equal force (push/pull) the wheel itself is pulled straight by the friction and weight and the pram moves in straight line rather than holding the turn. for some reason, this is the logic my brain is expecting after executing a full stop and then reapplying thrust. hence the boggle
  24. just trying to get my head around the tail wheel behavior. Read in a few check lists that you should "taxi forward a few feet to straighten the tail" which makes sense, and have experimented/tried it a few times, coming to a full stop in a turn, then powering up again to see if the the AC travels straight. When power is reapplied the AC continues in the turn that it was in and doesn't "straighten after a few feet" the only way i can get it the AC on a straight path is to apply opposite rudder / brake to the yaw movement till its on an even keel. Am i crazy or just doing something wrong? (first part is rhetorical)
  25. It's been great to "see" so many new faces on our server and some epic missions that have been made by our very talented and generous mission builder. We've gone from a campaign series, to interdicting dirty bombs to defending fire base Mary Ann from the NVA and the VC. If you're interested in quality banter, great missions and good laugh with a bunch of Kiwi and Australian Legends, hit us up. one simple rule...DBAD
