the manual seems a bit thin on tgp A2A employment. looking for info on what ranges tgp is useful and what the expected behaviours are. trying to corroborate behaviours, like switching from bhot to whot and losing point track on visual targets, plus effective range/s for holding point track and use in dgft mode info appreciated

experienced this too, only a couple of times. it's intermittent and hard to repro and catch

I'm using 1.6 release version and exports etc work as intended, fine work by everybody involved, it been amazing to see what Helios started as and what it has evolved to. Found an issue ( for me anyway) in using SRS. the new helios overwrites the export LUA and it removes the SRS line (hook) that is required for SRS to work in game. is there a way to manually add this through the profile editor? I have added the line to the export LUA that SRS needs and everything seems to be working as normal. This is mearly an FYI if others encounter this problem, but also if there is a trick I'm missing for the adding of the hook.

do you mean you cant set an SPI, like in the A10? dont think the viper tgp has that. there is a point track mode that will "lock" the tracking gate to a a target thats moving.

what screen set up do you have? and do you have the viewport lua for it?

if you are using TIR the f8 and f10 buttons are "trapped" by the TIR software and will not function in game. you may need to change those keys in the TIR window.

is the laser being fired immediately and they are being drawn together to ride the laser?

if you can make a vid of it, it might help people trouble shoot also what are your system specs?

wasn't he flying inverted (-2G) for a sustained period of time immediately before pulling the 8.5 G maneuver that ended his life? Whilst GLOC is GLOC, in that case there are mitigating circumstance (that supply context) and could possibly not be the best example to be used to support your argument ? just sayin...
