dcs is cpu intensive so you get better perf. with more Ghz, gfx card is secondary.:thumbup:

could also be a bad install/download or conflict between versions. remove all trace, and the saved game folder in your local dir. and do the re install dance with world and see if that is any different. you may need to install outside of the default Dir. iirc. its been a while since i installed due to autopatcher. also this thread may have some info, it sounds like a similar problem

check your gfx card settings and make sure everything is set to application controlled.if it is set to super sampling etc it will crawl at 10 fps. dont use steam version. stick with world.

or ask for ground power and shut down engines then ask for repair

usually the servers have a teamspeak address in the short description at the bottom of the master server list. you can join TS to get the password. edit: jsut had a quick look and OCB, AEF ,TOG, and the 76th servers are all un-pass-worded

If you are worried about the gear being faulty, use the windows calibration to check for spiking axis. Then check to see if there is any conflicts in the options menu. Might help

i'm sure there will be plenty of people willing to help, maybe look into joining a v-squadron or just jump into a server. if you know the basics of start up etc then getting into other things aint so hard. love the 30mm salute!

and as you say you wear glasses, it could be reflected light from them. had a head set that did that.

is there a light source behind you being picked up by the camera? is track clip pro selected instead of just the clip? 2 - 3 feet is recommended max distance from camera iirc

trim works as advertised when i fly in the A10. i have not heard any complaints from the eggbeaters in our group about trim in the shark. its not bugged.

tms left usually acknowledges/clears messages, is it not doing it in this case?

are you running it as admin as well? sometimes it needs the same privilege level. run dcs as admin and TIR (if you aren't already)

disagree. ED are running a sustainable business in a fluctuating economic environment with out having to resort to gimmicky add-ons. it's a fine balance to get it right and you can't please everyone all the time. Keep an eye out for sales and buy whatever modules you want then. That way you get what you feel is good value for money and the Devs can pay the bills and feed the kids with the pricing as is, the rest of the time. win-win:thumbup: my 2c worth :smilewink:

do you have the exclusive check box checked? otherwise it loads a default profile iirc

i ve employed them @ 2 NM on the quick draw, but they are much better used as a stand off weapon. whip out the Gau if your in close. you can experiment with them and see.
