i have set the paddle switch on the TMWH stick as a modifier and use it in conjunction with CMS forward/aft for zooming in an out. quite handy.

Hey fella its going to be a process of elimination to pin down what is causing the problem, best to start with posting up your system specs so any obvious problems in that area can be eliminated first.

i'm using a passenger seat out of a ford xr8. its comfy, adjustable, has a headrest and it came with the rails still attached. has served me well for the last 2 years. need to build the whisky bottle holder into it somehow tho..

Are dcs and tir both running as admin, iirc they need to have the privilege levels. It's not win 8 specific, but an idea non the less

Are the speed brakes mapped to a slider on your hotas? May be a sloppy pot... I have never flown fc 3 craft so I cannot say if there is an auto deploy function.

I do it through the ati software. Make the touchscreen monitor the primary, then disable the other, then set up the touch screen through the tablet options in windohz calibrate, then once completed reverse the process to get it back to "normal" I also stack the monitors in the same order in the Helios profile. For me 2 is on top and 1 underneath

Check you screen set up in Helios, I use a touch screen overlay, which is just a USB touchscreen. Set the monitors up in preferences to the same as Helios . Ie screen one is..... Screen 2 is.....etc. I have found that when I update gfx drivers I have to do the screen dance. That is, disable my main screen (non touch) , set, and calibrate the touch screen then enable the main screen again and make it the primary again. If this seems vague, it because I have have just finished work and there is too much blood in my alcohol system. I maybe way off on this but Giz a shout if it needs clarifying , but from what you describe it sounds familiar.

That would imply ATC had it to begin with. Not the case.

Try changing the LAN setting to 1024 or the nearest appropriate speed. It could be network related
