Check you screen set up in Helios, I use a touch screen overlay, which is just a USB touchscreen. Set the monitors up in preferences to the same as Helios . Ie screen one is..... Screen 2 is.....etc.
I have found that when I update gfx drivers I have to do the screen dance.
That is, disable my main screen (non touch) , set, and calibrate the touch screen then enable the main screen again and make it the primary again.
If this seems vague, it because I have have just finished work and there is too much blood in my alcohol system.
I maybe way off on this but Giz a shout if it needs clarifying , but from what you describe it sounds familiar.
