Normal Windows Desktop Shortcut. No Magic there. Drop the DCS Icon on the Desktop and that is it.

My Way to get DCS in the G2 is extremly simple. Start WMR in Windows(10), power on the G2. Wait until WMR sees the G2. Start DCS via Shortcut. No Steam VR active. Get the G2 on the Head, the House is on the Screen. Wait a little Time and DCS will start. Next, flying. As Controller i use a Logitech MX Ergo Trackball. No need for Handcontolers. I never used this.

Knock on Wood. Played DCS this Morning first Time after the Upgrades. All well. The only Problem is the really long Loading time of the Textures at first Start. Deleted the FXO and Metashader folders after every Update but this Time the Loading took forever. AMD 5800x3d 64 GB RAM RTX 3080 12G Win 10 latest Build

My Mouse Pointer is there, kind off. It is really annoying when at the start of a Mission the big Dot is clear in the Line of Sight and then the Start Window vanishes and no Cursor in Sight for a quick Setup like arming the Bombs etc. I have to try quick Movements with my Trackball to get the Cursor in Sight. Usually it's far at the Bottom of the Screen out of Sight. The Cursor Dot for the DCS Menu is in the upper Half of the Screen. Same if i use the Communicationsmenu. The round Dot is in a completly different Position. Not good. Reverb G2

Had the Problem with the Kiowa and the Collective. A IT Crowd Solution was working (Have you tried turn it off and on again?). I miss the Betas.

A bit Late, but it's working again. After installing FC2024 i tested the Config and the Mark was gone. Now it's working. Could be a Hiccup after an Update without the IT Crowd Method aka Have you turned it off and on again. Thanks for the Help

Same here. Upgraded to 2024 and the annoying Splash Screen about the not valid license at start is gone. FC3 icon is also greyed out and the module manager want a install of the FC3 module. Done that without result. I will wait for the Patch. FC3 is one of my older Modules. The Prog is on Disc.

Hello, after the last Update my Collective Binding is gone. I use the Throttle as Collective. Unbind and neu Bind does nothing. Testing with the Slider. The same. Only a red Exclamationmark. Before the Update no Problem. In the Finetuning Page the Input works. Without Collective it's no fun to fly.

Had that Problem yesterday with the F-14. Start of the Mission, press the Fly Button and that's it. Dark Screen with bouncing Balls. The Mirror stuck with a dark lower Half. Had to kill the Thread. Next Try and a little longer Wait before the Fly Button Press all was well. Shortly before that i had a Slow Repair and deleted the FXO and Methashader Folders. The Textures are also a little slow loading. Reverb G2. OpenXR.

Sure. But i do a slow repair including new Metashader and FXO Folder after a big Update. Better save than sorry.

I use Track IR for a few Years now but only the Software and Camera. I don't want a cable solution (makes no sense with a wireless Headphone) so i buyed the Delanclip Fusion Transmitter. Works like a charm.

Tried a slow repair yesterday and then flew a few missions. HP Reverb G2, AMD 3700x, X570 Board and 32 Gigs 3200MHz RAM, GPU ASUS TUF RTX3080 12G. Got around 60-70 Frames (depends on the Mission) tested with FW190A8 Persian Gulf Convoy Strafe but got several Times CPU or GPU Bound. No MR and Textures not on High because that's crashes some Modules like the AH-64 in VR. FPS in Menu is 90Hz. The highest Frame Rate i had was in the MP339 Weapon Practice over Caucasus. That was between 70 and almost 90 Hz. Also CPU and GPU bound several Times. All in All it's a pleasant Thing in MR. A nice beginning. Could only get better (i hope so). Rainer

Yes. That's in the MT FAQ. Works also. Apache with Textures high is also a No Go.
