  1. Hope this comes to fruition. Really like the idea of reenacting wild Israeli Air Force missions and Operation Desert Storm in a full fidelity F-15C... especially as the I/E model is coming online.
  2. After a flock of Candids flew in under mostly false auspices to deposit a SA-10 and more; the Georgians bomb at dawn Sukhumi with most of their best runway smashing bombs to force Abkhazia to the peace table. This is a screenshot from a recording of a trial mission. Some things have been adjusted since. But I thought you would like the visuals.
  3. OK sure, I'll share the other screenshot: Caption: NASAMs Site at Senaki Looking From the Northwest
  4. Just for those that want eye candy of this great add-on... went ahead and integrated it with the NASAMS after the good guys took back Senaki... Once C-model AMRAAMs were guarding the base, the Russian puppets really got... pinned. Now I have to figure out how to work this pack into surrounding a SA-10 base at Sukhumi. I've got a SA-15 and ZSU-23-4s guarding it also. It's so well guarded that 2 flights of 4 F-16s are going to have to SEAD sweep to ensure the Georgian Su-25 Frogfoots and A-10 attackers can do their jobs in the vicinity.
  5. There's now this from me:
  6. Hey there can someone like say @KissMyJazz please make a livery that's VF-213 Blacklion 110 from 2003 for DCS. That's former F-14 RIO Hilary "Toro" O'Connor's jet. Be nice to have her as my RIO. Nice lady, great tweeter! Here's some reference material: SOURCE of the above screen capture. A print of 106 is HERE and another HERE from 2003 of VF-213 for reference. There was some work done for a Strike Fighters 2 version. Finally, according to MATS, the aircraft BuNo was 164347 and NH 110.
  7. Reading all of this I have a simple solution... How about $50-70 for an assets pack for mission planners to use and everybody can use those 3D assets to either target or escort? You can't have them as wingmen/wingwomen and certainly not control them but at least more stuff for mission planners to work with.
  8. Was back in 1997. I am so grateful for @Wags and the DCS Team for bringing the Apache into DCS with modern graphics and avionics. Although I love fighters; I've always wanted to try my hand at Army Aviation.
  9. I prefer a text message sent via a trigger.
  10. Thanks for this timely guide. I very, very much appreciate this as I build FARPs.
  11. Worth trying...
  12. Be a nice mod...
  13. I am currently building a mission with a FARP to drop CBU-103s on, except the Mil-8s are on the move... so time to yank out the AIM-9:
  14. Thanks. Insurgent assets are key to me for now. There is some work on what I have in mind by some good humans: We also need some drones - at least US, Russian, Chinese, Iranian and Turkish in that order! Ditto shore-based anti-ship missiles.
  15. Been somewhat following this discussion. I'm just going to say acutely: a) We need more assets in DCS, period. b) There should be a way for folks to get the assets for the missions. Every mission I write will have a readme w/ links to the assets. c) If the player is not up to downloading the assets pack and/or add-ons for the mission, then no mission. The assets packs and add-ons exist for a reason, to tell a more dynamic story.
  16. Well @LetMePickThat and @Strigoi_dk you are heroes! This is the #1 need of the Syria map. I wish we could have a more modern Toyota HiLux also because that's what IS-S used, but otherwise this is so needed. I know a major DCS campaign maker in @baltic_dragon could very much use this in an upcoming campaign. Thank you again!!!
  17. I'll be patient on pre-order, but truly excited at the thought of a proper AH-64 sim that is the best 2021 computing can offer!
  18. I found this under shapes and my eyes are wide open. I tried to find the objects in Mission Planner, flailed and failed.: Also under textures... I hope this means what I think it means...
  19. As somebody who will turn in a 10-20 mission pak for the A-10C II before Christmas that will require third-party downloads, thank you!
  20. Well I am all for shelling out $15-25 to keep it real. I know there's a competing game of sorts that some on some other website have kept crawling along that has many more assets but nowhere near the graphics and realism. I just also know that the Syria map lacks much in realistic targets. I'd feel the same way if we put the current available objects over... say Korea where we'd need credible NK missile sites & some South Korean kit. Or Afghanistan where many of these assets I requested would be quite relevant.
  21. Thanks for doing this! The Heatblur F-14s desperately needed proper Persian liveries!
  22. Thanks, I can see the Su-75 Checkmate in the hands of many "rogue nations" like North Korea, Iran, Abkhazia, Syria, and yes Russia. Great replacement for the MiG 21 + MiG 23 + MiG 29 + Mirage at the likely price point.
  23. Also these airports need to have their parking issues resolved. See here: Thanks.
  24. Something else I'm working on... consider these infantry anti-vaxxers gone rogue.  Sorta like in RL as they're headed to a hospital.

  25. Where's this vacant models list @navyBtown? Also sure hope for more good amphib ships - like British ones for the Falklands!
