  1. Right, I can adjust the size and position of the darker grey overlay, just not smaller one that displays CPU/GPU frametimes, changes red to green in color.
  2. Anyway to enlarge the OXR Tools overlay. I'm having to close one eye, cross the other and look through my eyebrow to make it out?
  3. Just wanted to pop in to say thanks again to the devs and the Guinea pigs. I've always avoided Marianas because it was just a stuttery frustrating mess, but I just took my first flight around the island since it was released and.... WOW. I am truly impressed, and look forward to what future developments bring. Marianas is gorgeous, especially in the Apache... and I've never seen so many cars.
  4. IS Jabbah an actual user account on your system?
  5. If your'e DCS install is anywhere downstream of :\Program Files\ it might be a permissions issue.
  6. Not sure if it would work. Vive uses SteamVR and their own software layer. I will say though, for the Vive Cosmos Elite I started with, this was the best upgrade ever. https://www.etsy.com/listing/747729199/best-selling-gear-vr-lens-mod-upgrade
  7. If haze is your primary reason for running Reshade (like me ), try running Taz's fix on Kegety's shader mod. He included a haze fix. https://forum.dcs.world/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=259228&key=122f872847c371bc09ca14830b8a4102 I haven't used VRNS in a while, will check if it's working on mine later. OpenXR should show a user interface in DCS if running. I believe the default to trigger it is Ctrl+F2. Make sure you don't have a DCS function bound to that. You can also set your own from the OXR companion app. I set mine to Alt+up down left right
  8. Black screens... You sure your G2 cable is sound? I've had the blackscreens before on my first Vive and my first G2 cable. Turns out the Vive was from my grandaughter playing HL Alyx, twisting the cable too much, the I jacked up the G2 cable from continually raising the halo portion to 90* to take off the headset. Both had developed a short. Several of the wires in the cable are the smallest gauge I've seen.
  9. I actually saw the notification bar that comes up under the RSR setting toggle by pressing Alt+R. But it said something to the effect that DCS "screen" resolution should be reduced Height as well as Width. Shows green and active with DCS in 2D mode. This was after lowering the res levels under the OXRTools and the in game overlay produced by the tool kit. I will try it this evening in SVR mode.
  10. Any recent version updates I might have missed?
  11. What board? Usually start under advanced. Mine:
  12. Anyone have any luck with enabling RSR (driver level) from the Radeon software?
  13. Tried PBO (from the BIOS level)?
  14. I know... dude cost me all my "combat scores."
  15. Could be other services running on your PC. Some are resource hogs. 2 off the top of my head are Corsair or any RGB control software and Alienware Command Center.
  16. I've seen the no mouse pointer thing a few times. I get passed it by making sure that once you launch DCS and the first DCS loading window appears on the desktop, click it once. I think somehow another application is stealing the pointer focus.
  17. Anyone here talented enough to convert or duplicate this for the Apache? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310696/

    Sight select?

What exactly is sight select supposed to do? I mapped the particulars but nothing happens when pressed.
  19. Try uninstalling Mixed Reality Portal under Steam library. Reinstall from MS Store.
  20. I've noticed since the changeover to forum.dcs.world, that the "Content I posted In" link under "My Activity Streams" no longer works. just a head up
  21. I have noticed that the OXR motion repro seems to "learn." If I start in FA-18, Ready on The ramp/Caucuses and sit the for a bit just looking around, I can see the jelly effect panning view side to side while looking a CDU etc. Continues while I taxi, but once airborne it dissipates and the DCS fps counter shows a steady 45fps. No terrain jitter, no more jelly glancing around the cockpit. Considering how early in "beta" we are with this... the future looks bright. (crystal clear)
  22. I literally held mine up to compare
