Rextar. At anytime you start to take off flip your pitot heat on. Regardless to what the ground temp says. Because the higher you climb the colder it will get. As for the Pitot heat switch, it most likly effects other items as well such as the AOA vane. Jesse

While me and a few of our squad mates where flying on the Sepertist Agreshions mission. We had a new RWR contact that i have not seen befor. it was a U inside of a solid circule with the little ^ above it. From reading the manual the ^ indicates a airborn contact and the solid circule would indicate a tracking radar on my aircraft. But in the manual there is no U desination. One of my squad mates said it may be a possable contact from the UAV. From what i understand the UAV dose not have a radar but i may also be wrong. The manual also states that a laser detection will show up as a L. So i am also assuming that its not a laser coming from the UAV. Jesse

After searching and looking inside the manual. I can not tell what the difference is between the two pods. They both seem to hold 7 rockets each. And they both seem to list the same rockets in the game. So what is the difference between the two pods, what makes the LAU-131 better or worse then the LAU-68. Thanks Jesse

In the list of added features of the Beta 6 was the opiton to have a human ATC and JTAC spot. Where is the option in the game to place a human ATC slot for the multiplayer and such. And has anyone made a map that has this ability. Jesse

Not sure about the rest of the people. but when i fly over a shulka the jammer stays on Air and switches to profile that uses both chaff and flares Dont seem right as in the manual the gamer should go to AAA mode Jesse

there has been one out for a while. when i started in Beta 4 it was right windows key +home key same as the release so its been there for a while i am sure Jesse

I wish i could say i had the the same luck as all the other people here. I got shot up and lost my left engine. landed on the runway and shut everything down. I also got a brand new shinny airplane. But the left engine never would even spin up to start. I was reather disapointed :(

I have two crash files from DSC black shark that i would like to open and see what may be causing my game to crash. I had this crashing problem befor and decided to uninstall my flaming cliffs 2 and DCS blackshark and then reinstalled it. After reinstalling DCS blackshark i seem to get this crash again. I am not sure what is causing it to crash but i am woundering if it may be from the data link system, as it only seems to crash after information has been sent on it. Jesse

Hello there. i just bought a Saitek X65F flight stick and i am unable to get the right throtel to be detected under the right thrust on the axis control game set up. Which makes this stick kinda useless if you cant tie in the thrust independently. Thanks Jesse

I am new to the sim and enjoying it quite a bit. Althought there seems to be one thing missing. a Temp gauge for the outside air. It seems i cant seem to find it in the cockpit at all. So have i lost my mind and cant find one. or is this seems to be one of the only aircraft in the world that dont seem to have on. On a second note. I bought the game last weekend and pached it to 1.0.2 and now i am no longer able to use the training missions Was there a problem with my install or is this the way it works? thanks Jesse
