  1. Not sure if its tied to the KA-50. But a few tests with the Carrier we found that if the carrier is moving, then you are unable to refuel and rearm the SU-33. IF the carrier has stoped then it was possable to rearm the SU-33. perhaps this may be the same issue with the KA-50, Edit [Never mind. i was thinking of the wrong carrier. sorry about that] Edit again [Rearming and refueling dose work on the russian carrier, providing that the carrier is not moving, just tryed it with the KA-50 also]
  2. After reading your post there seems to be some good information in it. But where things really start to get confusing is where it seems your fliping switchings in the wrong order or trying to do them all the at same time. Alot of this dont need to be done at the same time. Just needs to be done in the correct order. Such as turning on the master switch first, then turning on the fuel cut off switch second. Third switching on the fuel boost pump. 4th turning on the magnetos to both. 5th priming the engine. 6th turning the engine over with the start switch tell it starts to fire and then switching the fuel mixture from idel cutoff to auto. Liten to the engine purr and be happy while it starts up. I will add this, not sure if this is correct or not for the sim. but for a scramble mission i find that if you add 5 to 10 seconds with the oil diluter switch you can lower the innital oil pressure in order to take off and climb. Of couse as the engine warms up to operating temp it will evaporate the fuel from the oil.
  3. I am just going to look at it like this for now. Perhaps in the curent config the aircraft is not up to 1980's standards. On the other hand there is still plenty of room on the panel for instruments, buttons and knobs to be added. As it would be more of a beta at the time of release perhaps as they start to get more advanced with the development more and more items will be added to the cockpit. On the other hand i am just having wishful thinking and what we see is all we will get.. Jesse
  4. Thanks for the updated link. as for the chickenhawk book its not quite what i had in mine when starting this post. I started it to help get technical information on the helicopter on how it works, starts up. flys and operating limits. Jesse
  5. In preping for the release of the UH-1 helicopter i decided to look around and see if i can find me a good manual on it.   7. some flight deck pictures would be nice. I also wouldnt mind getting some of the specs for the model they plan to have. Such as if its the Huey plus with the 1800 SHP engine or one of the C/D models. I am sure with the antisipated release befor the end of the year they are also working on documentations for the aircraft as well
  8. With the advent of DCS world. i doubt there will be any moduals released for steam. The best one could hope for would be just the keys from steam. But on that note every once and a while there is a sale on the DCS webpage for the moduals. just have to keep your eyes open. Jesse
  9. There are a few things that can cause your auto pilot to trip. Many of the things are already listed. Another item is having your autopilot switch in the "in route" mode. If there is no waypoint selected i dont beleave the in route light lights up but it will trip your auto pilot when you into auto hover mode. Another way to get your auto pilot to trip is if you pull to much load on the rotors and drop the engine rpm it will trip the AC generators and your auto pilot switches. But the lights will flash if that happens. Jesse
  10. i Just whent and looked in there. I found no crash log for todays date. last crash log i have was from the 13th of november. this crashed today on the 17th. Log file has not been created. Jesse
  11. Just tryed this with Devilman today. Issue is still present. After the AI aircraft shuts down. the clinets are booted "DCS has crashed" as for the Logs. i dont know where they are even located to even send them. Jesse.
  12. you can set them up to turn on and off in the target software. if you set up the target software for other games by moving the toggle switches the lights will come on and off. Personly i have no use for it as i dont use the target software. Jesse
  13. What about your Manifold Pressure Hoot. anything over 46 Inches of Murcery is dangerous for long term run time.

I must say i am deffently all for that my self. there are many of times i jump in a mission an start to fly only to find out one of my joystick buttons are not configured. but it looks like there getting there. Just today i noticed they now have a manual button when you push the ESC key in the mission.
  15. With DCS world. having the addition of two aircraft now have the option to use multipul screens. the A-10 having the two MFCD, and the KA-50 having the shkval and the ABRIS. I feel we are in need for a rework for muti monitor support. As the current standing now. We can not have Seperate LUA files for each aircraft for multi monitor support. By having one file set up for the A10 for each of the square MFCD's and then flying in the black shark the ABRIS is now squshed togeater. On the other hand if you set up the LUA file for the Blackshark. Now jumping into the A10 the right MFCD is streched. What i would like to see is the ability to set up a LUA file under each seperate aircraft. And by doing this when jumping from one aircraft in muliplayer/single player to another aircraft it selects the LUA muti monitor file listed in the aircraft folder. This providing the ability to have muti moniters configured for each aircraft and automaticly swiched to the current aircraft you are flying. And more inportantly, as more aircraft become avaliable this would also give the ability for a new LUA file for each new aircraft with out having to worry about the current multi moniter set up for previous aircraft being messed up. Example. squished or stressed mfcd's SnugglesTheBear.
  16. if your apu is not going above 40 precent. make sure you have your throtal levers behind the gate. if they are above the gate in the idle position then the start valve is open and its trying to feed bleed air off into the air start for the engine. thus not being able to start the APU. Jesse
  17. if your talking about the sound from a external view point then i would say it would be nice to have the sound back. but if your talking about the sound from sitting inside the cockpit, i personly wouldnt expect to be able to hear the impact sounds of the rounds when inside the aircraft Jesse
  18. I fand that when you push the ESC button. you move your mouse curser to the right about 3 to 4 inches and then down and the buttons will start to light up like the mouse is over the button. when the button you want is lit. push the button and the command is sent. Jesse
  19. You may have installed your DCS to your M drive. I have my DCS installed to my F drive. But the way the game works is any saves or configureations for controlers are saved in the C:/User/(username)/savedgames/DCS/config/input/P51D in that folder you will see 4 other folders Joystick. Mouse Keyboard and trackIR if you have it i assume. Open up the Joystick folder. and replace the Throtal and joystick lua files with the ones i have in the folder. Jesse
  20. speaking of manual revershion. has it ever been fixed in the sim to make it useable. every time i tryed it. it turned the airplane into a bobber. up and down like its riding a wave Jesse
  21. Tryed it, it utter crap in my personal opions. I really think Thurstmaster just put it in there just so they could say they had a profile for it. Just like the P-51 mustang. Sunshine and i set up the warthog for a much more useful profile and system relating items next to each button. It deffently makes it a much better killing machine.

  24. well due to long time it seems for them to update it on there sight i will post it here also This profile uses the Warthog LUA files directly inside DCS world so no need to mess with the profile software to use the Warthog HOTAS when opening the zip go from P-51d to Joystick folder. and from the Joystick folder copy and past the Joystick and Throttle profiles into your "C:user/savedgame/DCS/Congfig/Input/P-51D/Joystick folder P-51 Warthog HOTAS. EAC swich is used to turn generator On and off, RDR ALTM is used to turn on and off the battery, LASTE switch. ALT is for mixture cutoff, ALT/HDG is for Mixture auto and PATH is for Mixture Emergency, APU Start swich is used to turn on the Gyro for the gunsight. Flap switch up is for the fixed gunsight. MVR swich is for the fixed and gyro gunsight and Dn is for gyro gunsight only. Left engine operation switch is used for the supercharger. Down is for normal, middle is for low supercharger. and momentary up is for high supercharger. Right engine operation switch, Middle "no effect" Up momentary is for the starter. and down is for engine fuel priming. left engine fuel switch is for the gun heat. right engine fuel swich is for pitio heat. on the joystick. the red trigger button is for guns. the red pickle button is for bombs/rockets. Trim swich is for the aleron and elevators. TMS swich up and down is for faps. and right and left for rudder. DMS swich. forward and back for gunsight range. left and right for gunsight target wingspan. CMS push down is to reset trim That should cover everything.   25. Yes i have checked there also and so far they are not posted. they are supose to be checked by a moderator first befor they are placed on the websight. I am assuming that is what the delay is at the moment. Jesse
