  1. Nice. but you left the other two Pitot heat switches off to the left. Two other important switches that tend to get neglected a lot in life. Jesse
  2. I think its a mixture of snow and rain. Don't see anything on the windows thought. Would be a nice effect. Jesse
  3. I don't think I have ever seen any rain effects on the windshield of any aircraft in DCS. Its kinda a shame to as the windshield wipers work in the KA-50 and UH-1. And the switches for the rain removel work for the A-10C But I really would like to see in the game. Jesse.
  4. I like to add that I also can not see other players navigation position lights flrashing or stedy while inside a multiplayer map. I would also like to add that you are unable to see the landing light or search light extend on other aircraft inside multiplayer. Jesse
  5. they are external navigation lights that you can see only with the use of NVG, Sadly they are not implemented inside the game. and from what I understand they will not be added. In a way I hope they are because it is difficult to see wingmen at night even with NVG on. Jesse
  6. From what i read and understand the RPM increase and RPM Decrease is for when the governer is engaged. When the governer is disagaged the rpm is controlled by the twist grip on the collective. So when the governer is disagaged you use the twist grip to increase or decrease the rotor RPM. when the governer is engaged you use the RPM increase and RPM decrease to change the rotor speed. Jesse.
  7. Just a thought. If you read the operations manual of the UH-1H it also has two types of blades. the Metal blades and the composite blades. If i am not mistaken some from the developers/testors stated that this aircraft is modeled with it having composet blades on the Huey. This i am sure also would be taken into effect as the blades are also not as heavy Jesse
  8. With the addition work of making the aircraft multi crew live players for mutiplayer. I would like to see the controls edited if possable. I personly would like the controls to be more douplicated. Instead of having the Pilot trimmer and then the co-pilot trimer. I would like this all be combined to one stick. And then depending on what side of the helicopter your flying on that is the only side the button is activated on. As it stands now. if you have all your controlls maped to the pilot side and your a co-pilot you can watch the pilot buttons being pushed while your in the second seat. Jesse
  9. Not sure if this is a bug. Or how the VOR system works. or maybe a combination of the two. I have a friend of mine who made a mission, In this mission he set up one of the units to play a song on feq 124.00. Now the VHF AM and the Nav com both picks up the radio station on 124 and plays the music and you can adjust the volume with it. But the VOR needles dont work when the Nav com is selected to 124. But you can still here the radios playing across the nav-com radio. Thanks Jesse
  10. Not sure about the TARGET software as i dont use it. But you can already set this up by editing the .lua file for the switches. so when you move the switch forward or aft it turns on the battery or the fuel switches. + side by using the .lua file is you dont have to worry about switching profiles in target becauses its already set up for each aircraft in the game :) Jesse
  11. I kinda look at it like this some times Ralph. You buy a nice big bbq and bring it home and need to put it togeater. YOu have the manual with you and you can always look at the manual to put it togeater. But some times the fun of it is to try and see if you can do it your self without the manual. I think some of the simulation is like that some time also. After all in this case even if you boggier it up,your not really out any pocket money as you can just hit the reset button and try again. :) Jesse
  12. Try turning on the fuel switch first :) Jesse
  13. Was flying with a friend today who uses the auto start feature and had a issue with the master cuation light always being on. After this i decided to try the auto start feature my self and found that after the auto start is complete the IFF and Master caution light is still on. I would like to suguest to that you could add turning the IFF on and then pushing the caution panel reset toggle befor having the "Auto start Complete" This would remove the annoying master caution light that is faulsy up there. Jesse.
  14. Thats how to operate the radios which is fine. I am looking for a map that has the location of the radio towers along with the radio frequancy. So i know where i am going when i am flying tords the pointer. thanks Jesse.
  15. Ok here is a quck profile for the throtal. I will let everyone else decide what to do with the stick. All comments/ construtive critisum is welcomed. 16. And a map that shows all the NDB stations speaking of witch is there one in the manual? Jesse
  17. Thanks. I must say. the gauges are probly the best lit gauges compared to all the aircraft in the simulator. kudos to the people who did the gauge lighting.

  19. Reostates. Ped reostates dose nothing for illumination. Consol reostat controls both ped, consol and pilot/copilot insterments. Seems no other reostates work. and nothing appears to illuminate the engine gauges.. When checking it is daytime Jesse
  20. After looking in the controler set up i noticed there is a armerment Up and Armerment down for the toggle switches but there isnt one listed for center. The same for the gun switches. It would be nice if there was a center position so i could at least map it to my 3 position toggle switch on my controller Thanks Jesse
  21. the sound you are speaking of is not the master caution sound. it is the "low rotor rpm" sound. Just dont forget to switch it back otherwise when you do have issues you may not notice your problem
  22. Already have it. now just to tame the bird. Jesse
  23. I am still in the works of making a Warthog .lua profile. i am just making sure i am picking where i want my keys to be. Perhaps latter today i will have one drawen up Jesse
  24. the screen shots are located under "C:\Users\(username)\Saved Games\DCS\ScreenShots This is where all the screen shots get saved. also there is a track folder where all of the tracks are saved. And the game saves a track for each multiplayer flight you do also. Jesse
  25. From the manual perspective. and the photos of the cockpit. That answer appears to be No and No. Both items would be a much welcome thing in life. personly i reather have the RWR then the dispenser. But both would be ideal. At least the RWR would give me a chance to get out of the way of radar contact. But over all i am very happy what the aircraft has to offer. And it brings me back to my days when i was going to college to maintain aircraft. I spent alot of time there sitting in the UH-1H there. Jesse
