Yes i have checked there also and so far they are not posted. they are supose to be checked by a moderator first befor they are placed on the websight. I am assuming that is what the delay is at the moment. Jesse

Ok sunshine give the go ahead for the files, these files do not use the software with the warthog. they go directly into your lua files for the controls. this cuts down on the lag issues with the profile software and also easer for the switches to work as swiches. feel free to jump on the S77th Teamspeak if you have any questions. I will provide a link here in this forum of the download location on the ED websight when its posted. under the filter it will be posted under aircraft P-51D and game P-51D under the profile section. I am not sure if you understand this or not. but the mixture lever in this aircraft only has 3 positions. the mixture cutoff. Mixture auto. and the mixture emergency. When the handle is in the mixture auto postion it automaticaly adjusts the fuel mixture by its self. Jesse.

I have one that has been layed out by me and my buddy sunshine made it into a LUA file. pritty nifty setup. the flap switch, switches the gunsight from fixed to gyro. the apu start switch turns the gyro on or off. the EAC switch turns on the generator. the Rdr altm swich turns on the battery power. the autopilot LASTE swich turns the fuel mixture from off to auto to emergency. the left igniton switch is used for the supercharger low high and auto. the right igniton is used for the primer and engine starter. the engine fuel flow swiches are used for the pitio heat or gun heat. befor releasing i would have to talk to sunshine first. Thanks Jesse

I am not sure if this is on anyone else KA-50. but i have noticed that the Red and green lights no longer seems to work if the gear is up or down.. Is this a install issue or a bug that some how made it into the game thanks Jesse

Its true that Arma2 and DCS are two much different type "games" Arma 2 started out back in 2001 as "Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, around the same time as World war 2 online.. From cold war crisis VBS was developed for the military. Both "games" do there part well. DCS which is a great flight sim in its self lacks the ability to comunicat with any other people on the ground in order to give a good combat feel to the simulator. ARma2 on the other hand is a great sim for ground units and tatics of air power and vehicular warfare I will admit that the mechanics for the ground force in Arma is reather clunky but for what it aimed for was great. That being said, with the additon of Combined arms it will make the battlefield experence alot more rewarding or a challange for the aircraft in the skys. It will also give the aircraft in the skys some one to comunicate with to provide strikes on other ground units in a nearby area that the aircraft may not be able to see from above. Me personly i would like to see something along the lines of a 100% simulated battlefield. And i beleave with DCS this may become a great possability. Perhaps one day we will have fully simulated armor and sam sites. with the great simulation of aircraft Jesse

It seems to be working fine to me. Keep in mind its different type of compass. the compass its self is located in the wing. the right wing i beleave and then it is connected electricaly to the guage. so its only going to read correctly when flying straight and level. On the other hand. you will also notice you have a gyro compass in the aircraft. in straight and level flight you adjust the gyro compass to the magnetic compass. the Gyro compass will give you the correct headding while in a turn. But you will need to set the gyro compass often to the magnetic compass. depending how quick the gyro compass gets out of wack Jesse

Black Shark and A-10C aren't available :<
JesseJames38 replied to Shark-Bait's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Just a thought. would it be possable to made it so instead of installing BS1 and then BS2 maybe make it possable to have a option of installing the BS1 and BS2 CD key instead if DCS world can reconzise both CD keys it would be a great way to bypass the whole install BS1 just so you could install BS2 Just a thought Jesse -
It appears when setting up my warthog HOTAS that the Incease and Decrease for the key comands are swaped. In order for me to set the key i want for Increaseing the wing span i had to bind it to the Decrease. and Vice Versa for the Decrease i had to bind it to the Increase in the settings Jesse

Amber Light Left of Gunsight Controls
JesseJames38 replied to Smokin Hole's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
That light would be for the Rear Warning REciver. the control box for that light is on the right hand side of your leg in the cockpit Snuggles -
it dose list both in the manual. it just alittle harder to understand at first glance. It talks about there being 4 spots. Idel cutoff- Auto Lean Auto rich and Emergency. but if you read into it it says right after "Auto lean" (late war replaced with Auto/Run) and then under Auto Rich (Late war replaced with Auto/Run) AUTO LEAN/RUN. The AUTO LEAN position is best used for cruise engine settings to maximize fuel economy and flight range. On later model aircraft, the AUTO LEAN position is replaced with the RUN position. AUTO RICH/RUN. The AUTO RICH position is the standard operating setting for the engine and is normally used for takeoff, climb, landing, and combat. On later model aircraft, the AUTO RICH position is replaced with the RUN position.

Black Shark 2 (BS2) & TM Hotas X Profile
JesseJames38 replied to Icem4n's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Dont have one for that Stick. but i do have one for the Thrustmaster warthog that dose not use the target softwar. and set up the toggle switches for on/off operation Jesse -
I have not seen this happen in 1.1.1.0 and earlier. but now it seems with 1.1.1.1 the T-72b and T-80 have no issues with them shooting there laser guided Anti tank missles at the helicopter. And i must say they have very good sucess at hitting you with it unlike the BMP's and there anti tank missles. So is this something new that was never added to the patch notes? Jesse.

While flying online in a mission i was hosting. A friend of mine got hit by a sam. When he was hit by the sam it said, Player XXX was killed by XXX. Here is the funny thing, even thought that it says he was dead, he was still flying around. After he landed and repaired and took back to the battlefield no other ground units would fire at him. So the conclushion is this, if the game registers you as dead, but you are still able to fly and repair, the game will no longer view you as a threat and not engage. The minor bug. while playing online in snowy weather you are not able to see any snow at all thought the shakal. Jesse

I have noticed twice now when i was flying the A10 and droped a cluster bomb. as soon as the skins disperced from the CBU 97, my friend flying in a KA-50 his game locked up and crashed on him. Althought this was on a different mission. it may be part of the issue. Jesse

I am having a issue using the throtal Axis in the game when using a Thurstmaster advanced profile. When the profile is running in the back ground and you go into the axis comands. The Option menue will dectect the axis of the throtal movment. When saving and then going into the mission, The throtal axis no longer works or gets a comand. Has anyone else have this issue and if so do they know how to fix the issue. Thanks Jesse

I also tryed to set up a mission with training ordance. It seems to work fine with dumb bombs for the most part. About the only really good training ordance there is are the little dumb bombs that give out white smoke so you know where the bomb landed. The training ordance for the LGB dont work as it dose not track the training laser mode to hit the target. The only way to tell if a dumb bomb hits that are not the type that uses the smoke is to watch the weapon fall to the ground with the F6 view to see if it dose hit the target. All in all most of the training ordance seems to be useless for training from the point of one person trying to help another person set up the aircraft and deploy weapons. From a personal standpoint if your just doing pratice with your self you have a pretty good idea if it dose hit or not. And as Paulrkiii says. Hit or misses are not tracked, so its just one more reasion for me not to use them Jesse

CDU INU GPS and CADC not functional
JesseJames38 replied to WildBillKelsoe's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I already reported in the trouble shooting forums of this bug and it seems to be in work to be repaired. Jesse -
Call into the airport for inbound. The airport will tell you to fly XXX heading for XX miles. and land on runway XX. for the example we will use the heading 144. for 25 miles. with the runway of 12. (runway 12 would be around 120 for the runway heading) At this point you will want to steer your aircraft on heading 144, at this time i would set the auto pilot on. Then i would go to the HSI and set the coruse knob to headding 120, I would select the airport by the divert page so i can get the waypoint to pop up on the hud for the airfield. when the Course Deviation Indicator starsts to move to line up with the HSI courise arrow i will start to turn into the coruse heading. When the course deviation indicator lines up with the course arrow you should be heading in like with the runway, then be able to line up on the locolizer and glideslope on the ADI i am sure some one else will come along and make it less confusing then what i have said. JesseJames38 replied to 159th_Viper's topic in Multiplayer Server Administration
I, SnugglesTheBear hosts quite a few missions for S77th squad for the squad members and public people to come join in the server. I would be quite happy to help provide ideas and help with what ever testing that may need to be done to get the ball rolling. Jesse. -
I used to work great in Beta 4. after the release it seems to be broken. Jesse

Only time you would need to use the motor switch would be to purge fuel from the aircraft engine from a failed start/hung start. During normal aircraft starting the motor switch is not needed. Jesse
