Maybe you should switch to the hornet if it bothers you that much. They’re more serious in that part of the community anyway.
-
I don’t think that’s the case, check that you’re not moving the flight controls when you are in the WSO seat, that’ll trip off the autopilot.
-
That’s brilliant, thank you for posting this!
-
I’m curious as to what problems have you spotted with the F1? I’m not at all familiar with the aircraft but I love it in the sim.
-
Dude the Mossie has joined the super carrier in limbo, I’m not holding my breath on seeing any significant improvements or additions for a long time.
-
You’re going to have to clarify your statement. There isn’t a nose trim indicator light, just the gauge.
-
You’re not in NAV master mode, that might be it.
-
Same as me, I’m stumped. All I can suggest is that you post a track and let us have a look at what you’re seeing.
-
I don’t get why we would have such different experiences of the same thing. I have had no problems with the autopilot at all. Do you guys have any mods installed? They can conflict with stuff in odd ways.
-
Check this video out from Casmo, it should tell you everything you need to know.
-
I think it’s closer to 14 days

The Tomcat is amazing, it’s just an amazing experience in VR! There is a check box in special options to tone down the buffeting effects, they’re still there but are much less aggressive.
-
It all depends on the aircraft weight, how heavy were you when you landed? That thing can weigh as much as a truck and you know how well they stop if you drive lol.
-
I have just done a two hour sight seeing flight on the Sinai map in the 15, used the auto pilot extensively and encountered no problems. I don’t know what could be effecting you guys but it would be worth doing a short flight to demonstrate the issues and posting a track replay.
-
I was unaware of that mod, let me go find it
-
You want overdone check out the hornet

40 is old for the military. I can’t speak for the air force but after 20 years in the army your knees and back just start to fall apart at that age. Most Apache pilots I know are in their early 30’s the newer guys late 20’s most 40 year olds are coming up on their discharge date, some extend and stay on but most will get out.
-
Old guys always say crap like that about the young lads coming in, it’s exactly the same in the army.
-
The stuff that jester jokes about has been part of popular culture since before Reddit was even a thing, I think it fits perfectly fine.
-
Yes you can do that.
-
I’ve not noticed any issues, is it the A or the B model? also have you checked your throttle curves and hardware?
-
Judging by the narrow window that the MCB valve would open at dogfighting speeds and AOA’s It would seem that the effects of pulling this breaker are more psychological than anything. I think some of these old pilots stories are full of it I have huge respect for them but they do seem to like playing with people to big themselves up.

F-4E Phantom Phamiliarisation (whilst we wait for DCS..)
Q3ark replied to Karon's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
I see what you’re saying and it’s very true. I fly the DC-6 quite often in the civilian flight sim when I want to relax. the main thing that is bothering me is the poor vis out of the front and the WISO has no chance, don’t know why they even bothered to give him a clear canopy lol. -
Nah it’s works great, we’ve been training night cat 3 auto landings without any issues.
