    I think I know what’s happening to you. Make sure you’re not putting your brakes on before the wire has released. It will pull you back a little, this is normal just let it roll, if you try to stop it with the brakes then it’ll pull your nose up in the air.

    If these delays annoy you so much don’t pre order software that doesn’t have a set release date. Nobody forced you into anything and nobody has stolen your money. If you’re so upset then ask for a refund and forget all about it.

    Well the guy isn’t a moderator here. Regardless, the sentiment still stands, this module isn’t in good shape, every release introduces new problems. It was going well for a long time but things have definitely changed. I was hoping the situation would improve with the new unified approach (no separate open beta) but it’s no better, zero QA. I’m sure bignewy will be along soon to close this thing down anyway.

    We are complaining about the current state of the F16, it’s not that hard to understand the frustration people are feeling. Who made you forum police anyway?

    I agree, it seems they have the B team working on the F16, can’t seem to work on one feature of the aircraft without messing something else up lately, even simple easy to spot stuff like missing textures on the standby attitude indicator, last patch it was incorrectly animated engine exhaust nozzle. Now also we’re seeing people reporting that the radar is able to lock up aircraft even while it’s turned off, all these problems makes learning this module feel like a complete waste of time because how do I know what I just learned is correct and isn’t going to change next patch. It’s incredibly frustrating.

    It’s not being held back so they can make content, they get an incomplete pre release build full of bugs and are usually told not to show certain features as they’re not finished yet or don’t work properly. You’re not waiting longer because they have it.

    Ohh don’t start with that nonsense, it’s boring. They’re doing marketing, drum up a bit of interest before release, maybe even find a few more bugs the devs can squash before release. It’s not like they’re getting it 6 months early.

    I didn’t realise the huge gap in performance between the F4 and the F14, the tomcat, with its radar and datalink is light years ahead. I can see why it was so popular with crews in the fleet. With a good RIO the old cat can give modern jets a hard time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited to get my hands on the phantom , I can’t wait to see what heatblur have in store for us.

    I am not picking sides or placing blame. This should have remained private and been resolved in the background, that's on razbam. Now it's out, as the owner of the IP ED is in a position to control the information coming out by making some kind of statement or update, helping set customers minds at ease and putting a stop to the uninformed speculation. That statement released by Nick Grey did nothing but fan the flames. These kind of disputes should be resolved at the lowest level possible, if Nick Grey is getting involved it's looking bad.

    If a reduction in drama is what you want then it’s down to ED to make a statement, or post some updates regarding what’s going on, their intentions etc. Nobody here is an employee of either company, if they want to speculate in the absence of any official update then that’s up to them.

    I’m sure everyone saw that ED put up a video saying the chinook is up for pre-purchase, the timing sucks, it looks bad coming so close after this public bust up. I won’t be buying any first party DCS stuff until this gets resolved.

    I’m just getting bored of people trying to stir up drama where none exists, the whole idea that there’s some ulterior motive to the release delay or that “they” are lying to us is ridiculous.

    No you’re right there, they’re totally lying and making stuff up just to mess with you, it’s personal and you should ask for a refund and stop playing DCS entirely

    From their press release about the delay Heatblur are aiming for May, if they don’t hit anymore problems I don’t see why we should be pessimistic about them getting it out by then.

    They’re doing my head in, every patch lately seems to mess something up, six weeks between patches instead of four and still stuff gets through that shouldn’t
