Is there any way to turn down the brightness of the meatball lights? They’re so bright that they’re unusable.
-
Turn jester off from the front seat before you jump back and set up, once you’re done just remember to turn him back on. I believe this issue has been reported and is under investigation.
-
Any chance you guys might actually fix this issue? The F14 A is still getting the wrong hand signals on the cat, it's been 3 years now.

That’s great, thank you. I can’t wait for the next update to roll out. -

I’m also having this problem, I think it’s the same as in the thread I’ll link below, seems they’ve already fixed it and it should be in the next update. -
Dude the targeting pod on the tomcat is a much earlier version that what the eagle has, the sensor is a much lower resolution. You can’t compare the two. It also uses digital zoom when you zoom in to the highest level so it’s not using lenses but just blowing up the digital feed on the screen, rather like those crappy digital cameras that came out in the early 2000’s. It’s all part of the charm of using old kit.

No you do not.
-
You wouldn’t fly any aircraft at 3000 RPM. The gear warning does kick in too high.
-
Are you running the multithreading version? I’ve seen flickering objects in the Syria at Akrotiri airbase since the MT version launched, it might be related to that

Artificial Horizon - Bank not aligned
Q3ark replied to Rhinozherous's topic in DCS: P-47 Thunderbolt
You have to cage and then uncage it when you’re in level flight. That’ll get it straightened out for you. -
I think that curves are more trouble than they’re worth. When you get to the point in the stick travel that the curve starts and you all of a sudden get a load of stick movement. It really messes with you.

Feedback Thread F-14 Tomcat - Update 10th March 2023
Q3ark replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
the thread below should answer some of your questions -
That cockpit is a work of art, it’s a great place to be in VR, I’m just being greedy for a shiny new one to make believe I have a brand new Tomcat.
-
Are you kidding? That thread kept me entertained for ages
-
I was hoping it would be a clean version of the cockpit
-
Confirmed, F15 conformal tanks for the Tomcat!!
-
Yeah they really spoil this module’s cockpit, it’s a work of art……. then there’s the nasty static reflections.
-
Is there any way to turn off the static canopy reflections? I'm not seeing an option in the settings menu. Next to the dynamic reflections in the Spitfire and the P51 etc, they aren't great.
-
Check the DCS options, I’m sure there’s already something like this implemented.
-
OP, I have no advice to give you with regards to BFM. I still routinely lose at it, despite putting a little over 1000 hours into DCS over the past couple of years. However, after reading this entire thread I have one observation. You have become so tightly focused on what you believe the problem to be that you can not see anything else. Your current mindset is not receptive to learning, you are resistant and argumentative to any advice people have given you. It might be worth taking a break from DCS for a while in order to regain your perspective. This hobby of ours is amazing fun, but if it stops being fun have a break. You will never solve any problem by repeatedly basing yourself over the head with it to the point of frustration.

People are talking about delays but I hadn’t realised that they had set a release date, I’ve been out of the loop due to work.
-
Just no dude

It means the “U” key on your keyboard
-
I’ve seen bumping around like that when the carrier starts turning, not sure if that’s the problem.

Use full dry power in the F14B, that 90% thing is not right, you’ll take forever to get up to speed.
