A long time ago I went to "Aviation Challenge" (Space Camp for fighter-pilot wannabes) and I go the callsign "Clutch". Supposedly when I was younger, I rand through a fence with a lawn mower because I couldn't find the brakes....I don't remember that happening. I got Jinro from the company that makes Chamisul soju....technically it's pronounced Jilro but that sounds stupid.

It does have some health benefits. And as you said previously, "you're talking about excesses". That and prohibition in the US did more harm than good. I know first-hand that Japan and South Korea like their liquor, and they don't suffer quite the same amount of societal problems as we in the West do (I chalk that up to the fact that we Americans are for the most part immature and have no respect for others). Tobacco, on the other hand, has no health benefits and kills some 443,000 people in the United States every year (per CDC data). That BBC "harm score" is a load of crap. Tobacco should be at the top of the list, considering that second-hand smoke hurts those who don't even use tobacco.

Typically, people who smoke (be it tobacco or weed) don't give a rat's ass about anyone else and only care about their high/buzz.

...I didn't notice any change in the AIM120 between the patches.....the eyesore of the intakes distracts me too much in game when I look out the side of the aircraft and see a giant rectangle blocking the bottom third of my view.

I'll get on with it when they stop the favoritism in fixing the MiG-29's intake ramps but not the F15's.

What is the specific message I'm supposed to be given? Pontiac told me I could leave, but when I did I failed the mission. I played it before the patch and I passed the mission without any hiccups.

Yes it's patched. I'm most definitely flying close enough between rendezvous and landing. If I wander off I get a message from Pontiac asking where I'm going. The whole mission in general is a PITA. Takes at least an hour--if you get to the rendezvous too late you fail. And it's hard to keep formation with a turkey flying at barely 200kts. PS: why was this thread moved....the campaign section specifically states "Online and offline - create, record, discuss and distribute your missions and campaigns".....this isn't my mission/campaign, it's ED's :joystick:

I've seen enough documentaries showing that fighter aircraft never use NAV lights during the day, yet all the AI in FC2 do :P There are always lights marking the centerline and the edges of the deck.

Escort C17 mission. I fail even when I follow instructions. C17 lands and says, "We'll manage the taxi on our own. Thanks for the company." So I return home. Then I get a message saying "Mission Failed: You failed to maintain formation with Pontiac" First, how the bloody hell are you supposed to maintain formation with a plane that's on the ground? Second, Pontiac told me that he didn't need me anymore. So why the failed mission?

Shift+N or Alt+N....some kind of combination with N will shut her up.

In FC2? Do you have Gy's F15C model? I'm wondering if that's why mine aren't working......although my F15C does look a hell of a lot better :P

AI flight models, incorrectly using NAV lights, non-moving intake ramps on players' F15C. So many bugs that should be fixed that ED is ignoring.

Aha...found it. Except on my screen it's nearly 12 inches below the "default weather". Confusing, since no other ME options require hitting an "OK" button.

I don't see an "OK" button.....if it's there it is very hard to notice. No other settings that I've used (payload, etc.) need any kind of validation.

I tried making a simple mission in the ME, but when I tried to edit the weather, it just would not cooperate. I added clouds and fog, flew the mission to check. No clouds, no fog. Checked the ME and the weather settings had defaulted as if I had never touched them. Added clouds and fog again. This time saved and played. Still no clouds, no fog, and the weather in the ME still didn't change.

Fixed. My city has shit public transit. If you don't have a car and a license, you're screwed. From my travels around the US, I haven't seen a single city that does have decent public transit. Nothing like when I was in Japan--a car was just plain unnecessary over there. Here I'm lucky to see a bus once a day.

That only tells me that they're more immature than I am. THC stays in the body's system for at least 24 hours, and even 4 to 5 hours after smoking a joint, your ability to drive is just as impaired as if you were drunk.

You implied that by making driving while smoking pot illegal, it will make the roads safer from high drivers. It's illegal to drink and drive. People still do it. Here, it's illegal to text and drive. People still do it. Therefore, even thought it's illegal to drive while smoking pot, people will still do it and I will have to share the road with their doped asses.

Yes, because people who drink avoid drinking and driving. Oh, wait...............

But it also hurts those who don't actually smoke. The problem I have with pot is the stupid shit someone might do while high on pot. Imagine pot-smoking drivers in rush hour traffic.

That's because alcohol and tobacco are legalized, and thus used a lot more frequently than pot. When pot becomes legal, it will be the same as alcohol and tobacco. The US tried to ban alcohol a long time ago, and that didn't go so well. Tobacco should be banned in my opinion--it takes more lives than firearm-related deaths (per year in the US) and yet more people want to ban guns than they do tobacco...which doesn't make any sense to me. I had a pot-head in my class for 2 years. Damn good guitar player, but dumb as a rock.
