I really don't think a certain oil can increase your mpg. The engine and transmission itself is what determines the mpg, in my opinion. My car has a CVT transmission and runs 2200 rpm at 80mph (my old car would run close to 4000 rpm at that speed) and thus it gets 35 mpg highway, whereas my old car only got 21 mpg.

My first car (which still exists today) has 290,000 miles on it and counting.....and no one has ever put anything other than synthetic motor oil in that engine. And it's clean too.

I tried registering on the Saitek forums, but for some idiotic reason when I log in I'm greeted with a message saying "you do not have permission to view this page", and the admin is ignoring my emails. I earlier posted about a rudder issue, which I am still facing: Right rudder works fine. The first 1 or 2 centimeters of left rudder translate to the computer as right rudder, then after that distance it snaps back to left rudder (this is both in-game and in the joystick's properties). The next problem is the mouse and mouse button on the throttle. It used to work both in-game and on the desktop. No longer does it work. It does however work in the joystick properties, but it refuses to work outside of that. I tried reinstalling the drivers to no avail. Running Windows Vista (yuck). Other than that the joystick works perfectly fine. I just would like that mouse to work so I can look around the cockpit a bit easier, as I don't have (or want) TrackIR and the view hat on the joystick is somewhat awkward to use during dogfights.

Ahah---I manage to do that on occasion. Although, also on occasion I will notch and enemy's missile, and while I'm notching he will somehow be able to spike me on radar and launch another missile.

How might one deny the shot to begin with if the enemy has a range advantage over you, i.e. MiG31's ridiculously long missile range?

From my personal experience, Koreans typically have a deep dislike for anyone who is not Korean. Chinese, Japanese, American, African American, they are all disliked by Koreans. Korea and Japan are very nationalistic and racist countries. I read somewhere that North Korean pilots rely on the "aura of Kim Il-sung" for protection from enemy missiles. Also, judging by pictures I've seen of North Korean troops, they don't carry more than one magazine for their AKs.

You're kidding, right? When has North Korean leadership ever had sanity? North Korea gets away with so much because we rely on the UN to "reprimand" them, and the UN is a complete joke. I'm wondering how the sim works. The pilot of the Apache flies the craft, and the gunner shoots. So in the game, as the pilot do you just fly around and let an AI gunner shoot stuff, or do you play as a gunner and shoot stuff while an AI pilot flies you around?

....why can't they just use a compass? If a ground radar unit is using the above method, and tells an airborne unit that something is somewhere, and that airborne unit is using a compass instead of the radar's method, then the airborne unit will end up going to the wrong place.
