I had the same problem so tested it extensively. The problem is the air temperature. Alpen has it set to 41 degrees and the Hind will reliably start up at 30 and with issues at 33. There's no way to get her to start at 41 at all.

Yes it works fine. Need to make sure the presets are on the same freq as the airbase. Doesn't work like the FC3 modules where everything on same freq.

Yes Fusion, I see the same at close ranges too and it's ugly.

Cargo doors work fine but I cannot bind the pilot door to a controller.

After cold start, you need to hit the Left and Right side buttons in the ASO2 menu and select a "tray" with the I/II/III button. Three buttons. Then you can use them after a cold start in multiplayer from the pilot seat.

It's a LOT easier in the Ka-50 but after two or three tries I could do a night airfield attack quite easily though of course no SA-8 or similar was present!

In the example above, I have 4x Illum rocket pods so plenty of light.

Take the illumination rockets, aim up 15 degrees and fire 4200m from tgt (i.e. fire a set as you run in). The flares last 40 secs or so. Use that time to kill the enemy if you can. The distance from the flaring point to the firing point means that it's better if one helo illuminates while the other attacks.

Another Gazelle Bug (RWR): Have just found that ALL the small Sams are shown as BB, so Tunguska, SA-8, Sa-15, Shilka and Roland (and prob all the others) all show as BB. No good.

Agreed it's a mess - laser range and bearing and azimuth are wrong. They were fine yesterday ...

The patch (23 Sept) seems to have broken the Gazelle SA342M weapons screen. I no longer get laser range data and the bearing and azimuth are fixed and wrong.
