Thanks guys, I'll have a look. I don't have DCS installed currently, I got a new SSD for it and I was holing off so that I could install DCS 1.5 fresh, I guess that isn't an option now, I'll have to install the beta and then update it to 1.5. I guess it is designed to work that way anyway so no biggy.

Really? So this could be installed to the regular DCS install after all? I'm all ears if anybody knows how...

Me too, I got a 1tbb SSD just for windows 10 and DCS. This was about three weeks ago and I've gone without DCS since then as I wanted to install 1.5 fresh. Seems pointless now, if it won't be in beta too long I'll just wait. Does anybody know how long it will be?

Just remembered we get the L-39 also, good times!! Bit disappointed it will be releasing to the beta version of DCS however, I really didn't want to have to install two copies to my new SSD, especially as I've been holding off installing DCS for the last three weeks while waiting for this update in order to give it a fresh install.... I may have too.

Good point, I wonder if it will be detailed enough at close, and to the right scale that we could try such a thing. I do believe VEAO have created an Edge aircraft as a tech demo, maybe they would be kind enough to release it in future. It may not be a Red bull air race specific aircraft, but it's close enough to have some fun in.

I'm with you, obviously I'm excited for combat aircraft such as the Viggen. But I wouldn't complain about getting something like that. With the flight models, and in depth systems we are treated to in DCS, I would welcome almost any aircraft down the line as it is a pleasure to just go out and fly some times. And like you said, it may draw in new customers which would only be a good thing. Maybe in future when we have a few more in demand aircraft and some more maps etc.

Me too, I never fly the Mig-29 at all, the new pit will definitely change that, a PFM would be most excellent.

Seems the Mig-29 is getting some much needed love in 1.5 and is getting it's new cockpit. FC3 has turned out to be incredible value with all of the extra work that has gone into it... From the change log... "MiG-29 New 6DOF cockpit for Flaming Cliffs 3. New external model is in progress." And here it is in all its beauty :)

Well I was eager to see the Viggen announcement... Sorry, surprise announcement ;) But no need to explain, I'm sure whatever you guys are building behind the scenes will be worth the wait. And the fact you're hoping to release two modules before the year is out is surprising and very good news. Also, if you guys are going without sleep to get the Mig 21 working with 1.5, that must be pretty imminent... Good times. :thumbup:

Like it? I loved it! The model looks great, glad I pre-orderd it now and I suspect you will get a boost in sales after this video. It's just the SFM, I guess you'll be very impressed when the proper EFM arrives then.

I'd like to see that, I have Henry Hoover standing by to record the sounds.. South Korea may be giving them a new lease of life soon also which would be nice to see.
