  1. there's no new Russian aircraft coming out. I understand that information is scarce and there is a law in Russia which prohibits DCS level aircraft, but does the law also apply for FC3 level aircraft as well? Anyways, it would be great if we could get a new modern Russian fighter even if its FC3 level. Is the legacy MiG-29K code still in DCS?
  2. I really don't know the answer to that question. It's the nature of DCS track replay comrade. It's been broken for a long time and ED are just not bothered about it.
  3. That's a Su27 cockpit, not Su33
  4. This is really BS from Microsoft. If Microsoft continues with this crapola for an extended period of time, gamers will start turning to Linux. I wish ED start developing an Linux version of this game.
  5. Honestly, this bickering over which aircraft is better is getting old and tiring. I admit that I've done it in the past myself. Let me just say this though, against each other, F-15 vs. Su-27, with all the bells and whistles and each aircraft/missiles operating to their max, it would be a really close contest. Each aircraft have their own unique advantages and each approach the battle differently.
  6. @MRaza, nuff said I think :music_whistling:
  7. It is possible, but you need to be high enough. There maybe a procedure, but so far, I've not used any procedure as I don't use the S key/Cobra often.
  8. All these issues with Win 10 is the reason I'm sticking to Win 8.1. Also, with some of my old games not working properly with 8.1, I'm considering switching back to Win 7.
  9. Put the OS and DCS on the SSD and it should be okay.
  10. If you are going online and if you are all for the kills, then by all means, use the hiding in the mountains tactic, it will work against most lonewolves, but if you face a coordinated group of pilots, that tactic will not work as you will be dead in no time. Team up with someone and learn to fly the Eagle the way it was meant to be flown.
  11. Who won?
  12. No, not correct. The western RWR can tell the difference between different types of radar based on the signal frequency. The Su-27 and MiG-29 reads as a "29" spike due to both radars having the same kind of frequency.

    DCS: Carrier Ops

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2659915&postcount=14 This is what was said "We see 2016 as a big year for aircraft carrier operations as we plan to release both Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier modules. Both of these modules will be incredibly detailed models with working elevators, interior hanger bays, animated ship systems, and the ability to walk around inside the ships. These will be optional modules that would replace the existing ships currently in DCS World." But as always, the caveat: "Everything is subject to change" But I really hope they stick to that date. https://vk.com/eagle.dynamics?z=album-20224555_227391884
  14. 1985. I want that MiG-31 :joystick::worthy: If ED or any third party develops the MiG-31, I will uninstall all other modules, and fly only that!!!
  15. Hi Zeus, any update on when you will be releasing on Steam? Is INS finalized? Sorry for asking again!
  16. Most of you guys have too much time on your hands. Why bother changing something if it's working fine already. Unless you have a problem, then changing stuff makes sense. I've only installed my NVIDIA drivers just once, changed the necessary settings for DCS in NVIDIA drivers and have not touched them since. To each their own I guess.
  17. In Mother Russia, pilots not need such systems. Only western noobs need such systems :P:D Jokes aside, its great to have systems like that, but given the way the VVS and PVO operates, its not really essential to have that I guess.
  18. Thanks for the confirmation!
  19. Are any mission modifications necessary in order to run SLMOD?
  20. Well, for your information, the squadron in question is the No. 1 Tiger Squadron of the IAF. They are a multirole squadron tasked with air superiority, precision strike, and electronic warfare capabilities. So you can't just dismiss it easily. Again, I'm not complaining, I'm just providing some facts that are out there in response to previous posters.
  21. The Indian Air Force conducted tests of the MiG-29 vs. Mirage 2000 in 1988. The conclusion from that test was the MiG-29 outperformed the Mirage in every way. I can't find the link to the exact source but I remember reading it sometime back.
  22. Nice, thanks for the update.
  23. My squad flies the Su-33 on occasions when the missions we fly demand it, otherwise its always the Su-27 because it has the PFM. When ED releases the PFM for the Su-33, we'll be all over it, as its our primary aircraft. Come on ED, at least some update on the progress of Su-33 PFM would be appreciated! Thanks.
  24. Comrade, in Mother Russia, we no eat cookies, we eat pork and drink Vodka in copious amounts. :megalol:
