  1. Guys, you need to press and hold LShift+A to override the autopilot, set the desired pitch and roll settings and then release LShift+A. The autopilot will take in the new settings and fly it accordingly. Also, use the Autothrust feature (J). The autothrust can be increased (LShift+J) and decreased (LAlt+J) accordingly. Using these settings, refueling is very easy.
  2. +1 Glad I bought FC3 way back in 2012 when it was first released. It's been a long wait and the Su-33 is an absolute joy to fly! Thank you ED!
  3. Thank you! Much appreciated comrade!
  4. Anyone got this working as intended? The newsletter says it is a mode used for safe nap-of-earth flying, but all it does right now is just pull up and fly at safe altitudes. It's there a way to make it do nap-of-earth flying or is it a bug?
  5. I guess I/we need to be more specific. There are new features with the Su33 like the refueling mode, wep, take-off and landing restrictions on the carrier, Uvod mode parameters etc. So I'd like to know more about those and hence looking for a manual. Hopefully, ED gets it ready soon
  6. A manual would be really helpful
  7. Yeah, it should have the airspeed indicator regardless of type modeled as ED themselves have not been specific as to what type is modeled right now.
  8. Thank you so much ED! Been waiting for this for quite a long time! Finally!
  9. Yes! Must be the new Stalingradar implemented! :D
  10. Yup, sounds about right. Try what razo+r said. Maybe that's what is needed.
  11. Thanks guys.
  12. Any update scheduled for today?
  13. I sincerely hope they are not working on a WW2 bird. I hope they stick to some 70s/80s era aircraft.
  14. Looks like a test of the Mach meter instrument and not footage of it in-flight.
  15. If you like flying high, fast and classy, what will happen to you if some dev announces a DCS: MiG-25 or a 31 :P
  16. Since ED is close to releasing the PFM for the Su-33 and the new Kuznetsov model, I wish ED would include a dedicated PLAT CAM view so that a player can act as the LSO and guide aircraft in. Also, a working and visible meatball would be great addition. I'm sure its not that hard to implement it, hopefully!
  17. Thanks for the link. This spying from Microsoft is the reason I'm still on Windows 8.1. I hope I can stay on Win 8.1 for as long as I can. I really hope Steam or someone else develops an OS just for games or something that puts the users back in control!
  18. Excellent video! I sometimes forget how beautiful the MiG-29 really is!
  19. It was meant as a joke! I hope you took it that way, if not, I'm truly sorry!
  20. As others have already said (including me), FC3 serves the purpose for aircraft with limited info and/or legal issues in modeling at DCS level. I wouldn't mind more FC3 level aircraft coming out, of course with PFM!
  21. Happy Birthday comrade Yo-Yo! Stalin and the Soviet people thank you for your services to the motherland! ;)
  22. Shouldn't it be #MakeRedAirCompetitiveAgain ;) Yes, ED, please look into this possibility!!!
  23. Well, I wouldn't mind an FC3 level modern 4th gen Russian fighter since ED have expressly stated they are not going to make a DCS level one. Even FC3 aircraft are way superior to any other simulator in terms of flight model and systems accuracy. We're getting quite a lot of Western/NATO DCS birds, but there's nothing on the Russian front and there won't be any at DCS level. So, an FC3 level aircraft would serve a purpose IMHO.
