I’ve been wondering the same. I have an i9 9900k with 8 cores. I’ve been contemplating upgrading to a newer chip and mobo, but want to wait until this is answered.

As simple as it sounds. I’m wishing for an update on the multicore development report, dated 15 October. That report had 6 line items remaining, and mentioned Vulkan was nearly ready. If I were to be more hopeful, I’d love to see a video report; even if an update stating more time is necessary.

I think you’re right. Especially for single players. A great working dynamic campaign, with a healthy and diverse set of mission sets, will add nearly infinite replay-ability. While I’m really looking forward to the Apache, Multithreading, Vulcan, and DC are the only things I’m really ‘excited’ for.

Agreed! Also, @BIGNEWY, if you don’t mind….. Considering the swinging hook in both seats, was this video filmed on a multithread and/or vulkan build of DCS? Video looked great, smooth as butter, and seeing that swinging loop really rock steady and with gravity…… I know i’m hopeful, but…. Maybe??? Lol
