If it’s not on the wishlist already, I’d like to throw in my request for a B-25 Mitchell. I don’t really care which version to be honest; but I would lean towards a C or later; something with some strafing potential. The Mitchell is probably my favorite bomber from WW2, and while I strive to own one in real life (ha!), flying one in VR inside DCS would be the next best thing!

Yeah, a P-38 would be an insta-buy for me, and would get me to fly way more WW2

Happy to hear about Afghanistan and the long awaited F-15E… Video looked pretty, but it honestly means nothing without performance improvements. I didn’t see a single thing on the vid or in the email about performance improvement implementation. Multi-core, nothing. Vulkan, nothing. Further VR integration, nothing. I take it those are in 2023? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am speculating in this post: I’ve watched the F-16 short a half dozen times on a phone, ipad, laptop, and my living room TV. I’m not sure if it’s just me, or maybe the way the video was shot vertically, but I can’t help but think we’re being shown a different renderer or something. The video is super smooth looking, more than I believe I’ve seen before. The sim itself looks ‘different’. The Viper looks like the DCS viper, but with different…. Textures? Maybe materials? Both AC look more physicalized and as if they’re made of real materials. Almost like photogametry. Maybe a new shader? Anyone else suspect there is more to the short than just a 16 tanking? It looked good. Ignoring the obvi graphical glitch with the vapor trails and such. Maybe it was showing updated AI refueling? I dunno…

Hey @BIGNEWY , I know yall are working on more than a few performance updates coming down the production line, but we were wondering if there was any update on this? Last we have is from February. Did the team decide to pursue any of the above? I think any info (if possible) would be appreciated.

You know, I think we still don’t have that mind melter… Would be fun if it was a 22. Super simple cockpit. We have the weapons. I’m sure there is enough public data for the ‘stealth’. They don’t need to recreate that, just the radar return. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The flight model may provide the issue though. So who knows. I have to hope for this as well. I would much prefer your first line over all else. I would take a module-less 2022 if we got Vulkan, DC, Multicore, radio and all that.

For a Euro bird, I would love a Lynx. Or a big boi like an H-101 Merlin. Frankly, I could not care less about Puma’s or SuperPuma’s. I would throw $100 at DCS for a NH-90 tho - that’s for damned sure. But I think that’s too out of reach, same with the Merlin.

Hell yeah…. Soooo many options. They’re adding more islands as it goes as well. Could make going island hopping and assault a greeeat opportunity.

I’m not sure I would agree here. This is called Digital *Combat* Simulator. Granted, it has been heavily leaning towards flight sim, but I would love a good naval simulation and honestly, a ground game far more developed than what we have now. I love AIII and would love to play that style of gameplay in a future version of DCS. But, i would expect that to be years and years away.

Bought BS in 2008. Will buy every update they want to sell me. I have spent many nights in her now. I love flying her. I’m very much looking forward to the next few years for DCS.
