  5. What Im saying is unrealistic is being gunner and pilot in Hind. Thats not realistic by any objective measure. Petrovich can be gunner, or pilot, as indicated in previously released info. I believe if he is gunner it will, or at least can, be set to only fire at targets indicated by you according to type, range and direction, though I am not positive on this. But as far as petrovich being a pilot, and you the gunner or vice versa, that has been confirmed. EDIT: There is a post where developers have stated that when thebai is operating weapons they will bascially be fallible, as in not able to see all targets, range and visibilty will affect detection and accuracy, and there will be response time programmed in so even upon detection, readying and aiming weapons will not be instant. It just seems to me that covers your complaint. Im not trying to be argumentative, as opinions vary and not every one want the same thing. Im just saying if they deliver on these features then the AI should be fine by your previously mentioned concerns, and justify the time spent in development.
  6. You can of course choose to be the gunner and control all that, and petrovich fly the plane, so Im not sure I see your point. Unless you are saying that you want to control everything yourself, except maybe an autopilot, but of course then it would be completely unrealistic and unauthentic, which is not really what this sim is about. It takes a two person crew to fly and enploy weapons on this bird, so it requires either two players or one and an AI to play. The AI is still controlled largely by you, via instructions given. It seems to me to change that and make everything simplified and accessible from the cockpit would be to arcadish. Petrovich would seem to be more nuanced than just perfectly one shotting random targets, otherwise it would not require such extensive programming. In that case they couldve just used the existing AI model for the Mi24 that is already in game.
  7. Yeah, that's is what I'm saying. They put a date because they had to, but its doesn't mean it is an accurate date.
  8. My guess, for whatever it is worth is probably at least a week out, probably two. As they have said, they only gave a date on steam because it is required to have a date for pre order, but it was a rough estimate. But hey, I'm not anyone and definitely not in the know, just my guess by the way things are going. I still check every day though lol.

  11. Ive already put in a ticket, but im sure it'll get sorted. Cant wait to play as Ive enjoyed Reflected campaigns in the past.

  13. Downloaded three above mentioned campaigns and and neither of the three is playable. I waz using VR shader mod, and I deactivated it, but still wont work. Im trying reinstall to see if that helps, but it would be much appreciated if anyone has insight into this type of error.
  14. Yep! I just purchased, and downloaded, but says need activation? Oh well I sure some trouble shooting will fix it, or a google search, pretty sure its on Steams end. Cant wait to start
  15. Usuall doesn't take this long... at least with the last batch of campaigns before these three. The one with Operation Pontus, Rising Squall and the others took a week. Steam needs to get on this asap lol
  16. I can confirm that repairing the installation, or in my case Verify files through steam fixed the issue for me.
  17. Yeah, I saw and old thread that said doing an install repair could fix it. Im stuck on one in this campaign, but I dont think I want to try that and refly it just to be disappointed again lol, I'll probably just edit the logbook. Clone is correct. Its a Mission Editor function
  18. When on the ground, the rain effects can be heard and seen on the canopy, creating a very immersive atmosphere. In flight however you cannot see any rain on the canopy whatsoever. Not sure if this is known, or I am missing something but it seems incorrect as Ive seen videos posted with rain effects working in flight. This issue seems to be on all models I ve attempted it, be it fixed wing or rotary. Rain droplets objects is checked, and I know of no other setting to affect it. Any help or info would be appreciated.

  20. I have been flying the A10c for a long time now and the A10C2 since launch, and have never had any problems lasing targets until today. I'm doing everything right, laser is on, codes match, press nosewheel steering button, no effect. L doesnt flash and ordinance doesnt track. Auto lasing works fine. The attached track shows the NWS button being depressed, and no effect on laser. a10nolase.trk
  21. Thanks, Im learning the Mirage specifically for these campaigns, and already know the a10, so that will be a day one purchase for me. You make amazing and engaging campaigns!

  23. Is their still a sequel in the works for the Mirage Red Flag on Persian Gulf map following the same pilots? I havent purchased the Red Flag yet but the idea of a continuation sounds intriguing.
  24. Thank you for your response. It could be something with voice attack, but I'm not sure. After launching from the carrier, the dialog menu opens on its own with the carrier tower, as if im preparing to land. If I ignore that the problem does not occur, if respond then I lose the ability to communicate or use F10 a few minutes later It happened 3 or 4 times in a row, then I restarted and did not use voice attack and the problem did not occur. I was able to refuel and finish the mission to full completion. So I'm not sure what the issue was for certain. If I get time I while replay the mission and attempt to recreate the error and upload the track to see if it helps identify an unknown conflict, but perhaps it is all on my end. Thanks again for the response and I am thoroughly enjoying the campaign! EDIT: I am not using any mods other than Voice Attack VAICOM for the F/A18
