Sorry short off topic: How much performance do you get with foveated rendering in DCS?

Interesting TAA was with my Quest 3 way too blurry. DLAA was great.

Tested it with a Quest 3 (max resolution and 500mbit) and a 3090 and DLAA is great. Image sharpness is a little bit worse (maybe 10%) than MSAA but AA is stunning. I would say nearly free of any shimmer. FPS same as MSAA 4x but much better AA. DLSS was in all setting way to blurry in VR. Maybe the Quest 3 is too sharp in order to work well with DLSS. Great Update! Now time for the F4E to land!

Installed it today, very impressive Mod! But had the same feeling. In VR the dimensions seams not right. Very big seat and side panels but the front panel is quite small. No idea if that’s real or not, never sat in a F4. But again great Mod!

Has it VR support in general?

Can some F4 expert explain which livery’s we saw in the 2023 and beyond trailer? Saw a German one but I thought they only had F4F in active duty with German markings. Also some F4Es with US markings for training in the US.

Not the point. Nobody has a problem if the F4 is not released this year. Nobody questioning the hard work of HB. But from my point of view it’s bad communication not to tell us that’s it not gonna happen 8 days before 2023. If they told us end of November, “sorry guys we probably not gonna make it in 2022, but Q1 2023 should be possible”, completely fine.

Don’t think it’s already delayed. Why would HB, if they know that it’s gonna be not 2022, not tell us?

Maybe I missed that, but that means you are playing DCS with VD and the Oculus runtime but without Steam? My Pico 4 will arrive tomorrow and I am very interested how it will compare to my Quest 2. PS: And thanks for your comparison!

Can’t wait to take the F4 to one of the Cold War servers. Would be cool if Heatblur could give us a hint if 2022 is still possible. Still exited that my favorite dev is doing my favorite plane.

Thanks a lot! What are your DCS settings and fps in a F14 quick start mission? Just to compare it with my Quest2. Our systems should nearly the same. Edit: Maybe I will order a P4 to test it. According to you must be really great.
