What settings do you use in VD and DCS? With usb tethering the P4 could be an alternative to my quest2. I am a little bit worried that my system can’t handle the resolution required to max out the P4.

First impression: With my Quest 2 and a 3090 there is no noticeable performance decrease. Tested two standard missions, on a carrier night with a lot of aircraft’s on deck and also the standard dogfight mission. Shadow on Low and Flat.

Are there any further information about the developer?

Sehr geil, war mit der F4 auch unter meinen Wünschen. Hoffe das Team bekommt das hin.

Habe mich selbe für den 12700k entscheiden da DCS das mehr an eCores eh nicht nutzt. Bei der Single Core Leistung ist der 12900k knapp vor dem 12700k. Den 12700k leicht übertaktet sollte zum selben Ergebnis führen. Ich habe das gesparte Geld dann in 64GB RAM investiert. Glaube gelesen zu haben das im Gaming der Unterschied zwischen DDR4 und 5 marginal ist. Kommt aber immer etwas darauf an welcher RAM genau gemeint ist. Also Takt und Latenz. Pauschal schwer zu beantworten.

Today I flew a short sortie with my wingman on the server. Great server. Love the limitation to Fox1 and 2. Finally a server with modern aircrafts but without Fox3 spam. Added to my favorites. Thanks!!!

Totally agree, had some frame stuttering because of VRAM overflow with a 3070. Now with a 3080 12GB DCS runs great with Quest 2 maxed out and 2x MSAA.

My max usage today was 45GB. Tried everything to max out the RAM. Switched between airplanes, locations an so on.

Thanks, any ideas when the next mission with the A4 Skyhawk will start? Asking because I discovered this great plane yesterday and now can’t wait to test in in one of your missions.

@Alpenwolf Did a already take a look at the new SA map from razbam? Any ideas regarding a mission for this map? I know it’s a new map with likely not many players, but I am just interested.

Same for my wingman with a low end system. Syria ist OK, but Marianas and The Channel not. Without a free trial it would be to risky for him.

Still there. Is there at least a possibility to deactivate the gloves? During night the glowing gloves are really annoying.

Totally agree, had a 3070, and now a 3080 12GB. Fixed a lot of issues. Totally happy now with my Quest 2 and DCS.

I am very interested when we get more infos about the F4 such as development pictures. If it is planed to release it this year there should be a lot of work in progress which Heatblur could show us.

Also with my new PC the problem still exists .

Yes same here. Controls working perfectly within the plane but not in the menu.

Thank you so much! The F14 was my first plane in DCS and is still my favorite. That you guys now doing one of my favorite planes is just incredible. Can’t wait to send you my money!
