Well it is due to its unbelievably flat shape at the belly, with high speed it was able to fly because it produced its own lift. At least thats what the engineers concluded after the event.

You had way too much control. Seems like an old version. Try that in the current version. You wouldnt be able to turn to the right without full right rudder and foreward stick to the max and above 230 knots.

I manage to fly the damn thing, but never to land it... Too slow and you lose all controll and spins out, too fast and it bounces on contact with the runway... I have yet to perfect it...

Enjoy! ;)

What concerns me is that even at full power and holding down the breaks, you should start to roll. Breaks are effective up to like 80% core thrust, after that its gonna roll...
-
your breaks are inverted, are you using paddles for yaw?

HAha, thanks bud. ED should pay me for that one, I think about 10 people bought it just because of that.

Staying alive in the Ka50 is stupid easy... I see AAA and SAM launches just wizz by and not even dent a shark almost any server I go to, and they do little to nothing to avoid it. It simply amazes me... The A10 on the other hand, will get peppered by rocks thrown from insurgents mounted on donkeys up to 8K... So yeah, if you are getting killed constantly, then you must be sitting literally 3 feet from a threat and expect to live through it, and/or you are like 6K in the air, which will help you none. I say buy every product DCS has to offer (Except for P-51D, though it's just my lack of caring for that plane), because they are beautiful. The A-10 is fun, but by no means is it safer. You will die. You will lots. You will die and notice that your seat is wet with urine by the time you realize what has even happened to you and your beautiful A-10. But it is fun as hell, and with any plane or chopper, practice makes perfect.

this is another look at them, they work fine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBpZ3SAD72o&feature=youtube_gdata

There is nothing wrong with it ENO. You are confusing things for yourself. Id like to explain it to ya, but it would be long and confusing. But the short answer is, there is nothing wrong with it, it is doing everything it should be doing. Those are not the skeets you are looking for, they are the cansiters at the very end. The skeets are like the size of a CD drom disc, but slightly thicker. Those things at the very end are the empty canisters that carried the skeets is what that looks like to me.

Would a two seater F15E be possible, as in declassified?

I was told that there is no actual manual for telling you when to disengage NWS, and that you should just do it at your own discretion. That said, another thing that might cause it is apparently over stressing the nose wheel, for example, taxing around corners at higher than you should speeds. However the most prominent problem occurs on the runways, that are apparently bugged and fixed for the upcoming patch, where there seem to be invisible bumps that damage the aircraft. They feel like speed bumps, lol, but most of the ones I encountered are not on the runway but the taxiway just before getting on the runway.

By the fuel gage, do they perhaps mean that the fuel gage is always showing what the fuel state is even when starting from cold start? Because in that case yes, that gage was always showing your fuel status no matter if your A10 was on or not. But now it seems this will not be so. On a similar note, APU requires fuel to turn on?? Because there was a MP mission I played where the jet was cold, and no fuel. APU would not start, then the admin told me to take refuel first, after refueling I got the APU to work.

Yeah, those little pixels truly do not show themselves until they are dangerously close in DCS.

No, these are the PROPER CBUs. Those are SKEETS It would take too long to explain so here's a visual for ya instead: Skip to 3:15, and at 3:56 listen to the explanation which explains what they do, which answers why yours dont act like they used to. GQlkNEG-5WM Now if you want the OLD CBUs back, then all you have to do is equip the CBU 87 which has no skeets and just drops explosives like it used to. I think the CBU-103 is the GPS variant of the 87, while the CBU-105 is the GPS variant of the CBU-97 that both use SKEETs instead. I will however note that they are not perfect. Had WAYYYyyyy too many run ins with CBU 97s that did not sense the 30 vechiles underneath it, and instead they all locked on to ONE single tank.... happens too often im afraid.

No visiblity ILS and aerial re-fueling NIGHT
ralfidude replied to Titus's topic in User Created Missions General
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For all those who want to practice some good ILS approach, this is the mission for you, it was loads of fun. BEWARE though, the runway is NOT 30, its 29, so adjust accordingly. PS: Did you put some cross winds into it or is this is the same version? -

ralfidude replied to Nate--IRL--'s topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Ok, hold up, so... is this FC2 su-25t now available to play in MP with the HOGs and KA50s? -

Gents, I think he means that the third is imprevious if i understand that correctly. If he dodges the first two, he must be doing something right.
