  1. Gunning down T55's is fun, you dont need to be as close as a t80 and if you are good enough you can gun strafe 2 of them in one run. They also die easily if you hit them from the front armor, which you cant do on a t80, let alone a t90.
  2. Those tanks are.. tanks... A t55 is a crappy tank, a t80 is a much more modern tank and more armored, but a T90 is the best though not in game i dont think. And mortars, are mortar tubes, little tube, put round in, pop goes the weasel, and kaboom on impact... Im kind of struggling to figure out if that's what you were asking or you really dont know these things or terms, in any case, Google is your best friend. As for the AI behavior, no clue.
  3. OHhhhhhh, totally missed that one!!
  4. Use that chart, by printing it out and having it with you as you fly. HOWEVER< do the training flights over, and listen carefully to what the instructor says. As he is going through all the commands, and you do them over and over again, you will get the rhythm and acquainted with how the system works. I did not understand SOI until I sat down, and looked at it, then went, OHHHHhhhhhh that shit is simple....
  5. The tgp has ground altitude?? Where? I only see that it has an accuracy meter on the top left, slant range on the right, and ground distance to target in meters. I just rechecked the manual and there is nothing there about altitude from your plane to the ground. UNLESS you mean if I am flying RIGHT ABOVE the target and looking straight down, then yes, I would use the TGP, but thats pretty much useless if I want to know what it's like before I get there. There are some missions online that require you to know this in order to stay away from danger, but it looks like we gotta do this the hard way...
  6. Ahhh, understood. Guess im going up to 30K just in case hhahaha
  7. That's happened to me more than once... Wing just snaps right off hahahaah.
  8. Also, it depends what weapons you have on board. If you have mounted 6 mavericks, and 12 bombs on your plane, you can forget about making any sort of loop.
  9. Hey have any of you done the sound BIT test on the IFFCC? There is one where it says "Obstacle" what does that reffer to? Iv never heard bitch betty say that to me yet. Also, all altitude is displayed in ASL, so how can I see what my AGL is above 5 thousand feet? By default, the AGL is displayed on the nav block on the hud but up to 5K, I can also turn on the tape from the IFFCC menu, but that only goes up to 1500. The reason I need to know is due to SAM targets on mountains. I need to know how high I am to stay above their threat range but ASL is useless to me in mountain regions. Usually im up above 15K.
  10. Lol. Some friend of mine sent me to a website of all witty remarks made by crew chiefs, i was laughing balls. Problem: "Left inside main tire almost needs replacement." Solution: "Almost replaced left inside main tire." Problem: "Test flight OK, except autoland very rough." Solution: "Autoland not installed on this aircraft." Problem #1: "#2 Propeller seeping prop fluid." Solution #1: "#2 Propeller seepage normal." Problem: "Something loose in cockpit." Solution: "Something tightened in cockpit." Problem: "DME volume unbelievably loud." Solution: "Volume set to more believable level." Problem: "Dead bugs on windshield." Solution: "Live bugs on order." Problem: "IFF inoperative." Solution: "IFF inoperative in OFF mode." Problem: "Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick." Solution: "That's what they're there for." Problem: "Number three engine missing." Solution: "Engine found on right wing after brief search." P: Suspected crack in windshield. S: Suspect you're right P: Aircraft handles funny. S: Aircraft warned to: straighten up, fly right, and be serious. P: Target radar hums. S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics. P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer. S: Took hammer away from midget. Evidence of leak on right main landing gear. S: Evidence removed. P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.
  11. Summer... Nevada.... summer??? At this point, I am sure that it's taking this long, because they are working on the capability that after long flight hours, we will be able to land on the strip, and hop out of the canopy, and walk to the nearest casino, where we can meet with other pilots on break and have a game of blackjack. Id expect nothing less. :)
  12. AI have different flight physics, simplified i believe, otherwise they do really nasty stupid stuff. For example, a russian bmober, flying at low altitudes, gets engaged by sams, and he dives into the ground, suicide, hahaha, not kidding.
  13. Yeah, I think I read someplace that the information gets sent automatically to the bomb upon pressing the weapons release cue? That or TMS up, not sure. Then again im not an expert at this.
  14. Hehe, thanks guys. Its a fun mission to fly low.
  15. Their fearless leader is a hilarious one as well. Enjoyed my time on TS when playing with them.
  16. My mic switch up has been working properly, i use it for vent and TS. No change here.
  17. Did he say he sees 30 to 40 servers????????????? HOW?!??!?! There are like 15-20 MAX at any given time.
  18. It depends on the situation. Either you hit something you shouldnt have, you hit your target and its telling you to back off, someone else hit it and you are no longer needed, or he lost visual over it? Could be anything really...
  19. Something has been nagging me lately and i wanted to see if anybody knows here. When you want to drop a bomb in CCRP mode, let's say a GPS guided munition, you get a different release cue. THe circle starts to rotate counter clockwise and release parameters are when it's in between the two triangles within the circle. Is there any way of making them drop right away instead of holding down the release button when its within those two triangles? For example trying to release multiple bombs at the same time is hard because you need to fly higher to make the release cue longer, but the damn bombs dont release until the circle is about half way done between the two triangles... It's a waste of my time tbh. Any way to change that? Different release mode for that type of bomb?
  20. I dont trust ILS anyway... Those bars put me on a glide slope to hit the middle of the runway and not the beginning of it...
  21. They do drift... the CBUs definitely do not disperse right over the marked area where i set my TGP at... close but not exactly there. I usually manually correct this by anticipating what the CBU will do due to wind and set the TGP either closer or further from the target, then the skeets will do max damage!!
  22. Steep enough or not, the line should still appear right?
  23. What about if gear fails to come up?? Iv had this problem about twice before. One of the gears, would not come up and the other 2 would. I "fixed" this problem by flying over a building and just tearing off the gear, but is there a way to fix it without landing?
