  1. Sure on ground & if going with full tanks. Yes it does, my ME is imperial. Where do you see how many liters I have with 64% fuel? Why complicate things, when every other aircraft shows correct fuel?
  2. Here 7% fuel I think. Those landings are deliberately a little hard. Sure you can do ok landings, but if a little hard the suspension shouldn't throw the 21 up in the air like a glove, also look at the absence of wheel damage. I had alot of crashes, so I couldn't show everything that I wanted. Those are the only tracks I could get. mig21 land 1 .trk mig21 land 3 b .trk mig21 land ok stol chute .trk
  3. Fuel gauge not showing or auto correcting (after refuel) the right amount of fuel, even in autostart/airstart? The average DCS user don't have time to do Ibs to Liters conversions. Mig-21 is the only plane in DCS that has this now, why complicate things? It's a PITA. Especially when flying on imperial GUI & several quick missions. RL Ground crew sets the right amount of fuel on the Fuel gauge, it's his responsibility. At least show the correct fuel in Liters on a kneeboard. Seriously the Mig-21, that was one of my favorite aircraft has became worse & worse after the latest updates. Game breaking buggs like: canopy reflections, gear suspension, fuel-gauge! Nobody in my squad wants to fly it anymore! I wouldn't recommend the Mig-21 to anyone ATM. Why u destroying the joy of 21? Won't be good for your future Corsair sales, that's for sure!
  4. The suspension is worse then ever, we fought several years for a fix, they fixed it some months ago & now it's broken again. No other airplane bounces like Mig-21 ATM. I greased it down & it still bounced. Look at this video they are coming down pretty hard & not a single bounce!
  5. I was using cockpit RPM gauge. Did a bunch of landings & found out the best thing is to turn of AB, so it doesn't get activated (don't have AB detent on my throttle). It's a questionable design not being able to use AB in case of go-around.
  6. But if the AB is cut-off with full-flaps, why does the RPM go to max 88% now? shouldn't it be≈ 98%? Go-arounds with only 88% RPM seems dangerous? Yeah I know rise your flaps to TO but what if they are stuck?
  7. Thanx, for the info. Why Dolphin887 who flew the Bis didn't notice it, is very strange.... But if the AB is cut-off, why does the RPM go to max 88%? ,shouldn't it be≈ 98%? (Go-arounds with 88% RPM seems dangerous? Yeah I know rise your flaps to TO but what if they are stuck?)
  8. Rockets, bombs, CMs will be ineffective against light armor, if not a direct hit, coz of simplistic splash damage. They are basically dead-weight in DCS . Gun is 250 rounds, so the joy will be short lived. Try the gun in Su-25 & see. Then you have all seeing sniper AI...we all know how the helis thrive in the current DCS environment. It maybe will be good at anti-tank, I dunno, not counting on it, Mi-8pilot said the periscope sight will be challenging. In semi-realistic combat environment it will be very weak. If you like sighting in multi-crew & shooting at cows it will be a beast . Yeah my expectations are very low, better that way, so if it turns out better it will be a bonus!
  9. I never said I "need" AB during landing, just that it isn't available, coz it has been since release. Had the 21 since release & never knew about this limitation or read about it in any manual. Searched the LN manual & can't find anything about it. Can somebody point me to any info about this? What the heck it took Leatherneck +6 years to implement this? unprofessional & laughable!
  10. Latest OB. Didn't notice any difference, the reflections are still there. Why don't make it like F-18? There's actually a big airport behind the HUD, Ramat David. Radar obscured.
  11. It's camera angle not what pilot sees, see below. Exactly, Most cameras are placed close to canopy glass at an angle far from pilot eyes, making canopy appear like a mirror, but that's not what the pilot sees, just like in the car pic, it's not what driver sees. Vidd 1: Camera shifts between pilot helmet, very little reflections & back cockpit view, obvious difference. Vidd 2: camera very close to pilot eyes, hardly any reflections.
  12. Latest OB. Land.config (full-flaps, gear down) eng.RPM only reaches 88% with full throttle. Makes it hazardous to land. Half-flaps full throttle, RPM goes to AB.
  13. 06:26 Engines fuel-levers seems wrongly labeled, says RH on left lever.
  14. In flight 100%. Only time it's manipulated startup, shutdown, picking up, dropping troops while engines running. Same as in Mi-8.
  15. So did I, got 1500h GA, flown over CA & I never experienced any glass-reflections that hindered my vision outside like in the 21. The reflections are overdone. Have you tried dogfighting PvP & A2G with the 21 over coastal area? It's impossible to keep eyes on bandit or target, so there's a big problem. Or are you just doing sighting flights & don't notice?
  16. I dunno why it doesn't work for you guy's? Maybe try a repair? I'm out of ideas. This is from today, so it works.
  17. +1 The AP disconnects to easily. Same with stick hotas manipulation, you're just moving the joystick a bit & AP goes bonkers.
  18. Afaik the engines are unprotected. So it will be pretty much like the Mi-8, if engines get hits they will be damaged easily.
  19. Ok, whatever they are called then, but you don't see a problem here? Have you flown the mig-21 on the latest OB in a dogfight over the coast/water? You're not even acknowledging there's a problem here?
  20. Latest OB. Pics Clear day, over coast/water on CA map. Please fix hud sun & baked in canopy reflections. The Mig-21 is pretty much unusable now in dogfights & A2G. I can't see anything to the sides & through the hud.
  21. You on VR or headtrack? This works with TrackIR. Doing manually. Take my file , unzip, open "Tacca's NVG mod 1.2.0" folder. Copy "Bazar" folder & drop into your main DCS folder. Back up before doing.
  22. Works like a charm for me, see my post, a few above.
