  1. As a former Alienware18 owner I would suggest you do a thorough homework on this laptop before buying or if possible test DCS & F14 on it. Go on other forums & ask, research, compere. It's RTX2060M(Mobile) don't confuse with RTX2060D(desktop), same with CPU(M)so check benchmarks & game performance etc. Is the cooling sufficient? that's very important for laptops & FPS heavy games, coz I promise you it will run on 100% while playing. The cooling fans has to be excellent at keeping it cool for hours. 15" is very small, consider 17". I would also consider a pure Gaming-laptop for that price, you can choose among plenty. Good luck & let us know how it goes:thumbup:.
  2. You can see clouds, ground etc on moonless nights in the middle of nowhere like oceans, deserts. That's not realistic.
  3. My RL flying says otherwise. Of course you can have pitch-black nights, at all altitudes. Cirrostratus, desert, ocean, etc etc etc. Seen plenty can't see s##t nights at low/mid/high level alts.
  4. It will carry 8x Shturm, right?
  5. The answer was supposed to be posted here by NineLine, in the relevant thread, so much for keeping us informed . All Hud's still showing KEAS though!
  6. All HUD-airplanes are showing KEAS in the HUD. ED has to change that. What speed is the DCS FMs based on? Did quick tests & the nr's are correct as per TS linked redit tests. When is this going to be a confirmed as a MAJOR BUG? Jepp, they'll have to redo ALL FM's & God knows what else?
  7. It's ridiculous you can see stars, clouds & horizon during Pitch-dark, moonless night. And even ground in the middle of nowhere in the desert. Bug report: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4440767#post4440767
  8. PG latest OB. Gamma 2.1. Track attached. When are we getting an RL pitch-dark, moonless night? Now you can see the ground, horizon, clouds & stars...not possible RL in pitch-dark nights. You can even see the ground, in the middle of nowhere, in the desert! The lightning is still off & not tuned properly, if it's pitch-dark you can't see anything, no references. My 2.1 gamma is the lowest I can go, otherwise the cockpits gets to dark. And please don't come with "change the in mission gamma to lower" argument, as this is not a solution to the problem. For several reasons. 1. It's not worthy of a flight-sim to fiddle the gamma setting during game-play. 2. Other players can "cheat" with this giving them visual advantage. 4. Other sims can manage this just fine. 5. ED is fixing the "core engine". moonless.trk
  9. I find the 21 very draggy during approach now in land.config I need almost 100% RPM, compered to 83-87% RPM as it was before & per 21bis manual.
  10. Tracks with fog OK & not OK + test missions added in rar. After more testing it's not only buildings but the whole sky that is strange. Sometimes fog is OK & sometimes not. I dunno what's exactly the pattern for it besides that I adjust weather in ME, maybe when I select presets-weather & change it? Been testing for 2h so I'm beat & confused what I did & when, but at least tracks are reliable. The below pics are all taken at Kobuleti at 01:00 (night) on same mission. The 1:st pics everything looks fine, but after i changed weather in ME the sky gets very bright/blue. Fog not OK and Ok.rar
  11. Latest OB Also plz take a look at this: With "realistic TDC slew" unboxed, I can't move MavF seeker (mav uncaged & SOI. TGP locked). With "realistic TDC slew" boxed, I can move MavF seeker (TDC depres & slew at the same time) & lock another target. I imagine the majority use "realistic TDC slew" unboxed.
  12. "Case I. Case I departures are flown during day VMC conditions (WX 3,000-5 or better). Once the aircraft clears the catapult and a positive rate of climb is established, the pilot will execute a clearing turn, climb to 500’ and parallel base recovery course (BRC). The Case I departure is flown at 500’ and 300 KIAS paralleling BRC until 7 DME. When directed, or at 7 DME, the aircraft shall climb VMC on course (Figure 2-1)."
  13. Latest OB, fog is present now, but at night on rwy, the airport surroundings trees, buildings etc. look strange. Edited: after more testing.
  14. Trim is still very sensitive, 1 click & it pitches up too much, especially in landing config.
  15. Latest OB. HUD, TACAN Command Steering missing. See pic. Also what are the TACAN numbers on HSI when TACAN boxed? pic nr2.
  16. IFLOLS ball is not visible at side angles. The pics were taken at the correct glideslope. This correlates to this https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=274963. Simply put the IFLOLS ball light has a very narrow side & height feedback to the pilot.
  17. Compered to the "Old Stennis" you could see a high ball in overhead-brake. SC's IFLOLS (not the overlay) high ball, is not visible if you're even a tad above the upper glide-slope limit. See pics.
  18. On screen & TrackIR the IFLOLS is to dim. How can that be there's a difference in VR? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=274022
  19. Now that we have the FLOLS-overlay out of the way. We need FLOLS lights to be brighter (like on the Old-Stennis). https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=274022 Yeah, it's WIP, that can take a year, so meanwhile another mod?
  20. ED, just put the coordinates & North in, we need them.
  21. IFLOLS seems to be situated to low. Here's SC CVN-71 & RL CVN-71's IFLOLS ( from this video ) comparison. And other RL IFLOLS pics.
  22. ED please! can we have antenna elevation as an absolute axis?
  23. Thanx ED, our squad was very impressed.
  24. Flying on screen (1080p) & TrackIR. Compered to the "Old Stennis". SC's FLOLS (not the overlay) & night Landing-lights are way to dim now. See pics. At the "Old Stennis" I was able to see the "meatball" at the "90", this is not possible now. See pic.
