This court thing is an American disease. Rest of the world aint like "you farted! i ll sue you"... at least not yet. I prefer without problems thank you. One of todays problem is too much investment in MKT and not enought on the product itself. Althought i haven t followed much WT mkt, it seems TM was quite low profile on this aspect which is good. A pity this bricking affair came in.

Agree partially, that does not justify poor implementation and low quality components when the consumer is getting better component to mod the product.

i m with Bucic on this one... Most of the crappy features and products we get are our own fault. Were we more strick on delivered quality , problem wouldn t be put on market or would be quickly solved. Things like: The world will end if we dont support company X or Y are counterproductive. But sometime its hard to refrain from solving a "need" on a whim. As an example, how many of us should have waited to see warthog performance and bugs, but we where so willing to have a new toy that we jumped on it on a knee jerk, especially with Cougar background.

One point is why would they want a Nimitz class carrier informations for modelling and ETC, certainly not to put a F16 or F15. So i would guess f18 is the next plane. Question is: C/D or E/F ? As for extremely modelled planes or vehicle we can t despise the fact that 3rd parties are used ar a f15 fanatic employee could have taked it on itself to deliver the extremely well modeled plane.

Can you elaborate on windmilling being bad for engine apart from terrific heat dissipation ? I don t know squat and i m curious. And no i wont buy the sim. As for temp doing 100C well cooling weren t as eficient in the times so keep it as far as possible from boiling.

Ok doing some 1+1 now i m sure next DCS aircraft is f 18 X/X i would shoot E/F. I think G still have too much stuff Undisclosed.

Teej you may have a point i find the Warthog S buttons strange, and the T2 far too close final trigger movement. But its only a process of adaptation i guess.

Can we convert this as a sticky ? Its not just a case its a course that is must read for any cockpit dreamer.

There are some few movies of f14 downing opfor planes. But of course pilot quality is paramount, some engagement where like OMG a non friendly aircraft: RUN!!!!:D Not everybody is prone to die for his country, or for his dictator. As the F18 C/D being diferent from the f18 E/F, well, more or less... Its like saying f16c/d and f16u are totally diferents aircraft. They are just heavily upgraded. Byt the way a F18 would be my choice in what we re left to dream of, landing on a carrier alwaysmake things more interesting.

Ha but i taked the statement and redirectioned it clearly to the gaming industry. If you take typical for typical in role.... Well its clear all are the same, what change is avionics. My point is we still don t have any non american fixed wing aircraft modelled above the survey state. And one of those would be nice to change, or in the "gaming" context, anything not containing a "F" before the number. Of course a bucanner or sepecat maybe wouldn t be that fun. But thats only me. Can you state the sucking apart from maintainance time and cost, which are irrelevant gamewise ? Afaik f15 sucks too they ve been wacked up by Av8 in training And f16 have been wacked up agaisnt Su30 in the Indian contract licence. And until model G f18 had a load of problem (high response time, vertical wobbling, lateral nose drift..) with low speed which is extremely problematic when you have to land on a carrier... Taking on account that some of those comment came from F14 pilots pissed on the Tomcat retirement, and taking on account that F14 inability to dogfight was taken on propaganda to impose the F18... we have a tie. So sucking is quite relative if you don t look at both end of the spectrum.

Mig29, Su27, AV8 harrier, Su33, Su35, Tu25, why not the sucking AMX lol. All those are less comon than F15,f16,f18 if you rule out LOMAC, and none has ever been modeled in more than a "study" game. All those fit in DCS, single seat fixed wings aircrafts. I just don t know if ED has ever or will ever have a contract that he can switch to civ public. As for 2 seat version, AFAWK, ain t gonna happen, which by the way leave us with: F18 E/F F16 C/D F15 A/C Unless we gonna fall back in time so many other can fit in, but i don t think its the case.

Hi guys, I am thinkering on my pit. I see many people use triple monitors (inclusive 3plehtogo), and i saw some use huge monitors or TV. Actually in my country i can only find 25" monitors. But i ve seen people use LCD/LED TV also. And i was wondering what would be better. Some 32 or 40" TV, or some tripple head. How is HDTV resolution for flight sims ? (and other games) Since i went Nvidia and will probably stay there, i was thinking bout a big screen as cockpit and a big monitor (or 2) for instruments + MFD. Thank you in advance.

I wish thry would their products to other games than just FSX and MFS...
