YMadDog replied to Shack's topic in Virtual Reality
Oh sorry, my fault. I was still writing about Ultraleap with its ultrasonic solution. -

No air compressor... it is ultrasound so no air flow -

Still no news about the VR pilot body? I somewhere read that ED promised this feature but I am not 100% sure. @BIGNEWY can you check for us if the team has planned this feature or not? For us VR players it is vital to have at least the option to show the body due to immersion. Thank you in advance.

+1 to this! It looks somehow very very scary!

Pilot body in VR - most underestimated feature in VR or useless?
YMadDog replied to Rosebud47's topic in Virtual Reality
Anyone has a list of modules with / without VR pilots? I really love them as others said due to immersion. Following modules have a VR pilot: P-51, F-5, F-18, M-2000 Following modules do not have a VR pilot: A-10 (both versions) -
@markturner1960 Somehow my performance dropped compared to December last year (I felt it did but never understood why). I tried everything but performance was bad even with the lowest settings possible. Then I checked CPU performance and found out that my CPU was throttled. Check in your BIOS if you have activated your "Turbo Mode" or "Game Mode" (depending on CPU). My CPUs frequency was locked at around 3.7 GHz (I think) and Turbo Mode is 4.7 GHz. I activated it (MSI mainboard > Game Mode) and suddenly got higher fps (50 - 60 fps) and better frame time (around 15-17 ms)

Hi all, First of all I really like this campaign and I am currently at mission 8 so the fun should last a bit. But somehow I am stuck. First of all nearly stuck because the right wheel of my F-5 is in the grass, @SorelRo can you do something about it? Secondly I am having a very hard time fighting the bombers as intended. Some badass MIG-21 are hunting me down with the sun in their backs. Any help here how I am fighting these communist bastards? They get me always and very fast without me noticing that they fire their missiles. The other F-5 flight is going in low, F-4's are inland...so I am a really good target without support (maybe that's what's intended?) Thanks for any advice!

Hello fellow pilots, I am not sure if I am navigating correctly. I flew Mission 1 and 2. There is no TACAN therefore I wondered if there is DF available which is not if I am not mistaken. On Caucasus only kHz-Frequencies are available (found something around 800 MHz at Krymsk) and the F5-E operates only in MHz frequencies... Do I really have to navigate manually? I am often using the F10-map but do not like it as immersion is somehow shitty... Thans for any advice and or help

correct as-is In-Cockpit Engine Sound with V 2.7 Stable
YMadDog replied to Bob1943's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hey @btd the new sounds turned out really nice! Love it, thank you -
Hi dorianR666, the deviation is like 180deg but I am not sure about it. My track is like 13MB so see my Google Drive link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z6LbCTVlQo6-jYz6Exx8K42yNh3_qHpq/view?usp=sharing Hope I did INS alignment/startup in a correct manner - otherwise please give me some feedback. I really do not know what I am doing wrong or if it is a bug... Thanks in advance YMadDog

Sry for my late response... I was needed IRL I will try to upload a track this weekend. I never had any problems with AWACS calls so I assume it is another problem I have... as mentioned before, I'll try to upload a track this weekend. There is still a chance that I am too dumb to do a proper INS alignment...who knows.
