  1. Is there any chances of one of these two things happening with the Mi-8. 1- A rework and update on the graphics of the cockpit and pilot models? 2- Adding AI support from Petrovich to the AI co-pilot just for spotting or some simple tasks?
  2. J-7? But seriously it has been a year or more since Deka has said anything of note.
  3. The glare from the pilots seat flying the Apache with the sun mostly behind the aircraft makes it nearly impossible to see out of the front window. Sometimes there is even glare on the monocle.
  4. Funny I am experiencing none of those things. The lack of a fly by wire system means sudden movements on the stick can lead to very extreme reactions. It is a little wobbly on the runway but otherwise not bad.
  5. It's a shame that the AWACS doesn't answer declare calls.
  6. The current safety pin for ejection seat is probably one of the most frustrating things in the aircraft. You can't tell if it is removed or if it isn't.
  7. If you also look it doesn't have any AIM-9s. And I should have stated it never went into combat with that load out. It's like the 10 AIM-120 load out on the Hornet. Sure it can do it. Hell I could slap a GAU-6 on a Prius, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
  8. I have had this argument before. I will throw this out there and leave it at that. The F-16C never employed 4 HARMs or carried 6 mavericks. The Su-25T never saw mass production and was considered at best a limited production prototype. The F-14 never flew with 6 AIM-54s. And the JF-17 has yet to fly with 4 SD-10s. Yet we have all of those things in game.
  9. JH-7 would be great... Or any cold war airframes. Even the J-10 would be nice.
  10. Weapons: The most lethal weapon which can be carried by the Mirage F1 is the Aerospatiale AM-39 Exocet anti-ship missile. Two Exocets were launched by Iraqi Mirage F1's at the USS Stark on 5/17/87. Alternatively, up to two AS30L air-to-ground missiles can be carried on under-wing hard-points. 2 Matra Super 530 missiles and 2 Matra Magic or AIM-9L Sidewinder air-to-air missiles can also be carried for self-defense. The Mirage F1 carries 2 DEFA 553 30mm canons, internally, with 150 rounds per gun. 14,000lbs of bombs can be carried in lieu of missiles. - https://www.airfighters.com/aircraft-data/dassault-mirage-f1m null Spanish F1CM. null
  11. What lead you to this "souless" assessment? To me the aircraft has a lot of soul. The start up is pretty easy but it is an older airframe so not a lot of extra junk to mess around with. It is a handful to come to grips with while taking off from a runway. And once in flight it is simple to fly but hard to master. Weapons employment is simple yet complex all at the same time. Air to air is competitive for the era but not dominant. Air to ground it is competent but only as good as the pilot using it. Landing is pretty straight forward, a bit like a F-16 and a 2000c had a love child, not quite as hard as the MiG-21 which is trying to kill you but not as hands free as the F-14.
  12. Ok so I will have to check the knee board on the alternators. But the RWR is supposed to give the direction of the strongest radar signal. Right now it pretty much tracks EVERY radar.
  13. 530Fs... AM-39 Exocet, and AS-30L. Along with a real RER a radar that can IFF and a MFD. Oh and an assortment of laser guided bombs with tpod.
  14. The wobble is often due to the rudder. Easy on the rudder when going down the runway. I have set up curves for the rudder to help with this. But I like to get to 130-140 before rotating with full load. I am real gentle on the stick till I see the green on the AOA indicator. I am usually wheels up at 170-190. It's actually kind of nice not having it easy on take off.
  15. The RWR on the Mirage F1CE still doesn't seem to be working correctly. Is this something that is getting worked on? Second, I have run into random Alternator 2 failures which lead to Alternator 1 failures. It is easy to reset those but what causes these?
  16. I don't mind it but yes an option to have it set by the game would be nice. Or a faster scroll hotkey would be great.
  17. The radar is actually not bad. You just have to know how to use it. It is only really effective on a closing target inside 40nm. The radar isn't like modern easy to use radars. It scans pretty slow but if you cut it down to 30deg scan it's pretty quick. Just know that on left hand sweeps it's above right hand below. And sweeps 3 and 4 are closest to level with you.
  18. How do you get the autopilot to engage? I haven't had any luck figuring that out yet. When I am level around 15kft I hit the PA button and nothing. I am familiar with the 2000c and the autopilot looks a lot like the one in that Mirage.
  19. We don't talk about the T model that only two dozen were ever made and only a half dozen ever saw service.... In the Ethiopian military.
  20. Yeah I know the SD-12 well and the JF-17. Which is one of the top three modules out there.
  21. I retested last night from a drop at 5kft AGL, 2.5kft AGL at a speed between 350kts to 400kts IAS. Both times I was within the manuals perimeters and the bomblets exploded in reverse order last bomb to first. Each getting further from the target. At 2.5kft the distance was 500m from target out to 900m with a 40m spread. Don't believe me try it for yourself.
  22. CCIP is pretty much the same on every aircraft in DCS. I can drop mk20 rockeyes off a F-18 in CCIP and they hit where the pip is or at least close. Same for the Harrier... And the MiG-29, Su-27/33 J-11a, and Su-25T. CCRP is pretty much level bombing. Even when I retested at below 10kft with a shallow dive to line up the target the bombs still went the opposite direction.
